It's based on an indie graphic novel series (6 vols.), which basically tells the story you saw in the trailer - a young slacker falls in love, and his life becomes this surreal video game. It's hilarious. I even wrote fic at Yuletide for it before the first trailer was released.

I spy some Audrey Plaza in my trailer and that makes me SO excited! No, but those new scenes made it look even cooler and Michael Cera seems less annoying than I originally thought! :D

I wasn't sure I bought Michael Cera in the role before, either, but he's selling it for me now. :)

Cooking with Superman is a special that Kimono's Townhouse does every once in a while (the main comic is a My Little Pony figure photocomic which is cute and fun). Check my tag! I have several others. ♥
