This is a community for adult women in the baltimore and surrounding areas, and is run by bitchiekittie (who is not now nor has ever been a hon) and moderated by sarahmarvelous (who truly is marvelous).

My hope is that this community will prove to be a useful tool for its members lives - from the mundane to the meaningful.

I would also like this community to be seen as a place where women can express their thoughts and feelings openly, without concern for censoring themselves.

For this reason, I ask that all members be of at least 18 years of age, and not male.

Constructive and passionate debate is very much encouraged; however, no type of abuse will be tolerated.

I hope this will be a very diverse community of women. Please keep this in mind, be respectful when you post, and always be open to the fact that there may likely be someone who will disagree with your opinions.

If I see or even suspect any violation of these stipulations, you will be banned from posting and your entries will be removed. Any abuse will be reported to the livejournal staff, or, if necessary, your ISP.

For my personal preference (and I'm sure I'm not alone), LJ cuts should be used for all long entries or photos. Please warn if any material behind the cut is not work safe. Also, please, I beg of you, no quizzes.
