It's been ages since I posted anything Bean related so here, have a video. It's more of a slideshow really but there are lots of pretty pictures. I think I might even watch a Bean DVD tonight. Suggestions?
It seems a Sean Bean fangirl wrote his biography on IMDB
Sean Bean, England's most versatile actor, holds a stellar career spanning every medium for approximately 20 years, in theater, radio, television and movies. This soulful, green-eyed blonde's roles are so varied that his magnetic persona convincing plays angst-ridden villians, as in "Clarissa," passionate lovers like Mellors in "Lady Chatterley's Lover," rough-and-ready soldiers such as Richard Sharpe, heartwrenching warriors as the emotionally torn Boromir in "The Lord of the Rings," and noble Greeks, like Odysseus in "Troy," where his very presence in the film adds grace and validity to the rest of the movie.
Recently, he did a turn in Shakespeare's "Macbeth," where as the principal lead, he so transfixed the audience that the show was extended in London and critically acclaimed.
Bean, however, remains himself, a man's man, and in the glizty world of movies this is a rare thing indeed. Bean currently resides in London where he enjoys raising his beautiful daughters, his beloved football, and the occasional pint. In his home country of England, he was recently voted the second sexiest man in the UK, and seemed to enjoy this notoriety, stating, "I don't have any problems with women seeing me as their ideal bit of 'rough'. Why would I?" Well, good to know, because his legions of fans do not have a problem with it either.
Astin mentioned Bean last night! WHEE! It was only a passing mention. He was talking about when the fellowship all went to get tattoos and he said that Bean had already left New Zealand but that he got his done later in New York (with Orlando. Aww!)
So there we go. Bean is mostly insiginificant in Astin's little world but at least he got a mention
Oh, and he enjoyed all the attention he got from everyone when he impaled his foot on a peice of glass.
Sean Bean ("The Lord of the Rings") has been cast in the lead of Fox's undercover drama "Faceless."
On "Faceless," Bean will play Eddie Prey, who used to be a heavy-set federal prosecutor, until he's beat up and shot. After losing weight, he takes on a new identity and goes undercover to bring down a major crimelord. Hour-long comes from 20th Century Fox TV and Flame TV.
The British actor will utilize an American accent for the part. Bean's other credits include "North Country" and "The Island." He'll next be seen in the features "Sharpe's Challenge" and "Silent Hill."
I don't want Beanie to move to America! What if he loses his Sheffield accent? What if he turns into Dom and starts making outrageous comments that he's God?
