Here's how it's gonna be.

This newsletter hasn't had a single issue in, wow, a long time. This whole thing was a neat idea, but didn't pan out like I'd hoped.

The Hey Arnold fandom is scattered around livejournal, deviantART, and FanFiction.net, as well as a few message boards. As cool as a Hey Arnold newsletter would be, there wasn't much enthusiasm from fan authors and artists to have their stuff included, and it was too much work to keep track of it all anyway. So buh-bye, newsletter.

hillwoodtimes isn't vanishing, though. I quite like the idea of the birthday thing, so near the end of every month I'll try to update with next month's fandom birthdays. And this comm will also continue to host links to hillwood_guild's projects.

ALSO, if you haven't already heard (in which case, what planet are you living on?) Hey Arnold seasons 1 and 2 are now on DVD exclusively through Amazon!

This is the pilot entry for Hillwood Times, a Hey Arnold newsletter and an update journal for hillwood_guild's projects. In the future, the plan for the newsletter is to update at the end of every month, with links to everything from new fanfics to fansite updates. hillwood_guild's projects have no regular schedule, and are only likely to post completed projects every few months or so.

We'll keep our eyes open for discussion topics and fansite updates, but if you want to make sure we include something, then make sure we know about it by telling us! We'll include pretty much ANYTHING Hey Arnold-related in this newsletter. When it comes to fics, art, and icons, please know that we need direct permission from the author/artist before we will link to it. Anything more than a month old will probably not be linked to.
