SpaceWalk works with Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Bitwig, FL Studio, Cubase, Reaper, and Digital Performer. It runs on macOS (Intel and Apple Silicon) and Windows. Note: SpaceWalk does not work with Pro Tools, Reason, or GarageBand.

UPDATED: 25th Jan 2026. Please update to v1.1.4 as this behaviour has now been changed. (Original answer) This ensures compatibility across different DAWs. If you need chords to start exactly on the beat, drag the MIDI to your track and nudge the notes back. A future update will add an option to adjust this.

SpaceWalk generates MIDI, not audio. You need to route its output to a synth or sampler. Load SpaceWalk on a track, then send its MIDI to an instrument track with a synth loaded.

Add SpaceWalk as an instrument track, then route its MIDI output to another instrument track with your synth. (Note: the setup video incorrectly mentions using an effect track.)
