I managed to get a rip of the new album a little while ago, and I was wondering if anyone else had heard it yet. If you have, feel free to share your thoughts. As for me, I think it's quite bland compared to their last few releases. Aside from "I'm in the Band," I didn't get much of the "balls-out, rock 'n roll" that I usually get from them, but who knows, maybe it will grow on me as the time passes.

well. it's about time they started doing some promotion for the new record. and it seems nicke & kenny will be talking about the new record (they'll probably most likely play some songs off it as well) at p3 rock tonight at 22.10 CET. for those of you not living in the wonderful country of sweden and still, for some inexplicable reason want to listen to nicke and kenny speak a lot swedish, it's possible to listen to the show at www.sr.se/p3/rock (click Del 1) after the show has been aired.

They were fuckin' amazing, as you would expect. It had great symmetry, opening with "By the Grace of God" and closing with "(Gotta Get Some Action)Now!". From latest to first with everything in between. It was one of those gigs when you are really disappointed when it is finished because it had to end, I could have watched it all night.

Thirteen hours until the doors open, sixteen hours until the Hellacopters are on stage. YEAH. I'll report back on how it goes, as if I don't already know it's going to rock.
