today, munching away at the Italian large-leaf parsley. We’d planted
extra, hoping that they and the tiger swallowtails would find it.
Disturbingly few butterflies seen so far this year, so I’m really
rooting for these critters to succeed. Almost as exciting as when I
discovered a mother cat and kittens in our backyard! (We kept 3 of them
and found good homes for the other 2.) [My photo.]
