I don’t actually believe most working class people support communism if you leave out the “scary words”, like many people say. I think if you start talking about a classless, stateless, moneyless society where the means of production are owned in common and goods are distributed according to need, most people will probably say, “Hey… That sounds like COMMUNISM! Commie, commie, traitor to our country!”

I posted about how predators are drawn to positions of power, but how just as often, if not MORE often, power engenders predation and some bright spark chimed in to say “idk man you give me absolute power the first thing I’m doing is giving everybody a good meal and making sure they have a place to sleep”
I try to think about power in terms of how it works in the real world, not fantasies about what I would do if I found Aladdin’s lamp.
