Born of an unlikely love between human and dragon, Ninian and her brother Nils spent most of their life living peacefully behind the Dragon's Gate - until they mistakenly answered the summons of their father, the dark druid Nergal, and found themselves trapped in the human world. Separated from their dragonstones (and thus, from their power to change forms), they lived a tense life on the run from Nergal's agents. Eventually Ninian, not in her right mind, was taken again and willingly opened the Dragon's Gate for Nergal - only to set loose not dragons, but Heartless, upon Elibe. Plagued by guilt for the destruction she unwittingly caused and fearful of what might happen if the truth of her heritage came to light, Ninian has joined the efforts to drive back the Heartless to the place from whence they came. |
Glacier, Ninian's staff, looks as though it were crafted from a long piece of ice, though it seems to have been made of something stronger. It's well-suited for casting ice spells but only fair at best for casting fire; additionally, it boosts the natural properties of her dances. |
