I've never quite figured out what the different Mr. products are about, does any one know?

I mean like Mr. Surfacer for example.

Earlier my HG Exia arrived so I thought I'd put up some thoughts on the first of the 00 Gunpla (ignoring FGs).

Does any one have any advice on air brushes? I currently have the spare pennies to hook myself up with some new modeling toys and I thought it might be a good idea to pick one up. So really any advice would be cool or a link to a community which would cover it. :)

I thought I'd let you guys know about gundam00 It's erm.. the Gundam 00 community for LJ..? Either way it's taken off and I'm going to put up lots of gunpla stuff up there when my order arrives, so I figured I should point you guys there while we have all the hyper from the first episode.

anyways I was looking through a blog and saw a couple of pictures that made the little girl in me squeel like no tomorrow.

Figured you guys might enjoy this instead of hording it away on my public blog. I got the MG Turn-A today and I'm documenting each step with off the hip pictures to show how it works on the outside. It's a very odd kit where some bits don't seem to fit (I'm looking at you missle vents) but suddenly you try it again and it fits perfectly, with no hint of the reason). It's 359 pieces (estimating) and has no inner skeleton, but lots of tiny bits all over the chest which are a nightmare to clean..

Either way under the cut are pics from the chest being complete to the head going on, when it's fully done I'll take some good shots of it posed various ways. I'm currently debating if I should go with inks of each colour to panel line ( I got a new set of Vallejo inks for it) or just do everything in a nice black/black-blue blend mix (to lighten the harsh black)

I should warn they are poor quality, they were off the hip as I have the modeling bug and I have to force myself to put down the knife and pick up the camera.

I've "finished" the deathscythe custom on my week holiday after so many months delay. I was either out of the appropriate paint or thinners or missing the pieces - which towards the end I'm missing a piece of the peg that holds the wings together.

Here is the main suit that I have finished putting together. I'll try to ink the panel lines over the weekend or something. I'm thinking of inking the black with red and grey with the white.

The way I painted it, it resembles Mazinger rather than deathscythe :P






yeah. i didn't rotate the pictures. Busy working on the sd strike noir and prepping a 1/44 zeta c1.

It's been a while.



this is my progress of the 1/100 deathscythe hell custom. still have to prime that i snipped off the frame. silly me.

hopefully i'll get this all done before this weekend.
