I am applying to grad. school in California. CSU Chico, Humboldt, and other places. I have already talked to their graduate coordinators. They told me not to send something too long, but not too short? They never really gave me a concrete number. How long was your sample? Thanks.

I think I may have stepped on a couple toes the last time I posted here, so this time I come bearing gifts for the group. I have been collecting links for the software I see mentioned in the group. So last night, I decided to go through the archives for the last two years looking for subject lines that indicated the post might have something to with software, online services, or research methods. I also checked out the group's tags, plus the tags of the AA community.

I thought maybe someone else might have a use for the list besides me. I used Firefox to export my bookmarks to html. ( Collapse )


I started categorizing them, but then I just didn't feel up to the task. I did try to group them somewhat. Please feel free to suggest any other apps or links, other ways of grouping, or any way to make this list more helpful!
