Well the extended deadline seems to have gone down a treat! We'll be sure to make it longer next month. We're just waiting on pieces now from a couple of people [you know who you are!] so if we could have these in by the deadline of midnight tonight that would be excellent! They go here.

The magazine's looking brilliant thanks to all your contributions and some great photoshop work. We're really looking forward to launching it upon the world and cracking on with Issue 2! So get your thinking caps on because we'll be back onto you for ideas almost as soon as we're through with this one!

Keep Exploring people and I expect the next time you'll hear from us will be to announce the launch!

The deadline for material for Issue 1 of the Global Explorer was supposed to be midnight tonight but seeing as how we have 12 pieces outstanding, it has been extended to Wednesday night.
Please please please, if you said you'd provide some material, provide it?
The magazine is looking awesome but it needs you and your input to make it.

If you aren't going to give anything can you just let us know so we know what we're waiting for?

If it's just pictoral goodies you're bringing, then post them in comments too. If it's a writey piece but you've got images to accompany it, post it all in a comment and we'll get our photoshoppers onto it.

Welcome!

Hello everyone, if you were one of the lovelies that commented encouragingly in response to our pitch for The Global Explorer online magazine then you probably know what we're all about already, if not then have a looky at our info page, it's all on there.

The cut off point for ideas for the first issue is today!
No need to pitch again on here though, if you commented on the post in calmallamadown then your ideas have been duly noted.

At the end of today I'll post a list of all the ideas pitched and who's nabbed them so if you could just confirm that you are indeed going to proceed with that idea, that would be awesome for us to get planning with.

The deadline for everything for Issue 1 is next weekend, but more info on that when we know what we're dealing with.

Get working guys, this magazine is going to be tweed and gouda wonderment..!
