Long green hair, often loosely braided. Green eyes. Typically wears white, both on-duty and off, and dresses modestly. Personality: Dedicated, Loyal, Trustworthy, Kind, Hard Working. Emotional and prone to outbursts when upset. Proud. Is driven to fix every hurt, even if it endangers her own health.  Back Story: She was born in a small village near the Voltaire kingdom. Her father died when she was very small, and her mother fell ill and passed away some years later, leaving her orphaned and homeless. After Gunter took her in, she found many of her burdens lifted, but never really settled into "being a kid" (though she was much happier). She continued to work hard, but focused her energy on studying and becoming the best healer she could in order to help others in need. She received no education until Gunter adopted her, and so was very far behind her peers when she began her schooling. Eventually she caught up. Though she was never an exceptional student, she did well enough and had no trouble adjusting to the rigorous training she received when joining the military. She gained some fighting skill in training, but much of her skill has gone stagnant over the years. She is largely a pacifist (with a mean right hook). Role/Job/Rank: Gisela is recognized as part of the von Christ nobility, but does not hold any title or rights to that kingdom. She is a healer and the head of the medic division of Shin Makoku's military. Though many call her Sergeant, she is actually a Lieutenant, and more often than not simply referred to as Lady. Family/Friends: Gunter: Adoptive father. Since he took her in, she has loved and respected him deeply, as she would her real father. She has always felt an obligation to repay him for his kindness and support. Julia: Friend and mentor. She admired Julia tremendously, and wished to be even half as great as she imagined Julia to be. She had loved Julia, though she kept that to herself. The older healer's death had a strong impact on her, and was one of the reasons she dedicated herself so completely to her work. Past Relationships: A few soldiers here and there, and once a fellow healer who eventually moved on to another kingdom. She had a secret crush on Wolfram when young, and had fallen in love with Julia before her death. She's never formed a strong bond with any one.
