Well, hello there! I’m back to Cyberpunk and my V’s story. There’s a lotta text this time, since I’m retelling the storyline from my character’s point of view, so you can read the whole thing on Nexus. The link will be at the end.

Меня очень зацепила атмосфера Чпок-стрит. Тем более я установила мод, который сделал эту локацию еще ярче. Там всё прямо-таки пышет грехом, и это очень круто. Граница между обычными способами утолить похоть и куда более темными делишками с запрещенкой. В этом весь Найт-Сити.

I really fell in love with the atmosphere of Jig-Jig Street. Especially after I installed a mod that made the whole area even more vibrant. The place practically reeks of sin, and I absolutely love it. That fine line between the usual ways of satisfying lust and much darker dealings involving illegal stuff. That’s Night City in a nutshell.

Самое классное в погружении — это то, что ты реально переживаешь за судьбу Ви. За то, как она гонится за решением, которое может спасти ей жизнь. Но каждая попытка ускользает из рук, всё дальше отдаляя её от желаемого.

The best part about getting immersed in the story is that you genuinely start worrying about V and her fate. You watch her desperately chase after a solution that could save her life, only for every attempt to slip through her fingers, pushing what she wants further and further out of reach.

А я тем временем закрыла личную орбиту Рафаэля. Пипец два с половиной года, учитывая что ранговать карты я стала только в этом году. Конечно же огромную роль сыграл компаньон русал, с другими у меня пока не получается выйти на финиш. Ирония в том, что Рафаэль для меня последний в очереди по популярности, и качала его карты я меньше всего. Молодец рыбка, ты заслужил своё почетное место в моей армии.

Meanwhile, I finally completed Raphael’s Personal Orbit. Damn, it took me two and a half years, especially considering I only started ranking up my cards this year. Of course, the Mermaid Companion played a huge role in it. I still can’t reach the finish line with the others. The irony is that Raphael is the last one in my popularity ranking, and I’ve invested the least in upgrading his cards. Well done, little fish. You’ve earned your honorable place in my army. 🐟

П.С. Пока я не могу полноценно работать в редакторе и подолгу играть из-за своей болячки. Но я рада, что могу хотя бы ненадолго погрузиться в эту игру и отвлечься от всего остального. Тем более что она не требует много времени.

P.S For now, I can’t fully work in the editor or spend long hours gaming because of my health condition. But I’m happy that I can still immerse myself in this game, even if only for a little while, and take my mind off everything else. Thankfully, it doesn’t require much time.

Поначалу я довольно скептически была настроена к этому баннеру, так как думала, что это будет очередная флаффовая и банальная романтическая история с игрой на ностальгию по старому кино. Меня уже давно не радует игра с практически отсутствующим сюжетом, вечно скучными ивентами и похожими друг на друга картами. Однако этот баннер всё же смог приятно удивить. Я большой романтик и, конечно же, люблю подобное кино. А «Гордость и предубеждение» — один из моих самых любимых фильмов, как, собственно, и сама книга. История в карточке Зейна — это прям попадание в самое сердечко. Героев затягивает в фильм, который они смотрят в таинственном кинотеатре. Зейн ничего не помнит и ведёт себя как персонаж этого фильма, а МС пытается вновь разжечь в нём чувства, чтобы завершить историю уже с их участием и вернуться домой.

At first, I was pretty skeptical about this banner because I expected it to be yet another fluffy, cliché romance that simply relied on nostalgia for classic films. The game hasn’t excited me for a long time now, with its almost nonexistent story, constantly boring events, and banners that all feel the same. However, this banner pleasantly surprised me. I’m a hopeless romantic, so of course I love stories like this. And Pride and Prejudice is one of my all-time favorite films, just as the novel is one of my favorite books. Zayne’s card was an absolute hit for me. The protagonists are drawn into the movie they’re watching in a mysterious cinema. Zayne has lost his memories and behaves as though he truly belongs to that film, while the MC tries to rekindle his feelings so they can bring the story to its proper conclusion and finally find their way back home.

Герои фильма помолвлены, но главная героиня этой истории хочет разорвать помолвку, и Зейн соглашается с этим решением. Сама МС, оказавшись на месте героини фильма, вовсе этого не хочет, но помолвку всё же расторгают. Теперь ей приходится заново завоёвывать сердце Зейна. Мужчина, конечно же, пребывает в полном недоумении. Он всячески старается избегать героиню, особенно учитывая строгие правила приличия того времени. И всё же его неудержимо к ней тянет — ну а как иначе? Зейн искренне считает, что она заслуживает права самостоятельно выбирать свою судьбу, и не хочет навязывать ей брак по договорённости. Проходят месяцы. Героиня из кожи вон лезет, чтобы снова понравиться Зейну, но он постоянно колеблется. А между тем фильм нужно как-то довести до конца, чтобы выбраться обратно.

The protagonists of the film are engaged, but the heroine of the film wants to break off the engagement, and Zayne agrees to her decision. The MC, now finding herself in the heroine’s role, doesn’t want the engagement to end at all, but it’s called off anyway. Now she has to win Zayne’s heart all over again. Naturally, Zayne is completely bewildered. He does everything he can to avoid her, especially given the strict rules of etiquette of that era. And yet, he can’t help being drawn to her—how could he not? Zayne genuinely believes that she deserves the right to choose her own future and refuses to force her into an arranged marriage. Months pass. The heroine does everything she can to make Zayne fall in love with her again, but he keeps hesitating. Meanwhile, they somehow have to bring the movie to its proper ending if they ever hope to return home.

Вот только есть одна проблема: концовка должна быть совсем иной, чем в оригинальном произведении. Там, к сожалению, героев ждал грустный финал — они расстались из-за недопонимания, а когда спустя годы встретились вновь, у каждого уже были обручальное кольцо и жизнь с другим человеком. МС решается на отчаянный шаг. Зейну не хватает смелости вновь признаться ей в своих чувствах, поэтому она пытается сбежать от него, тем самым вынуждая его наконец сделать первый шаг. И вот тут начинается настоящая игра на ностальгии по фильму «Гордость и предубеждение». Он выбегает к ней из тумана, колеблется, его голос дрожит… и происходит новая помолвка. МС целует его руку — совсем как в фильме, — после чего они прижимаются друг к другу лбами. От восторга я чуть не описалась. 😭 А дальше в слайдах нам показывают их свадьбу и счастливое совместное будущее.

There’s just one problem: the ending has to be completely different from the original story. In the original, the protagonists have a tragic ending—they separate because of a misunderstanding, and when they meet again years later, both are already wearing wedding rings and living separate lives with other people. The MC decides to take a desperate gamble. Zayne doesn’t have the courage to confess his feelings to her again, so she tries to run away from him, hoping to force him into finally taking action. And this is where the beautiful homage to Pride and Prejudice begins. He runs toward her through the mist, hesitates, his voice trembling… and the engagement is renewed. The MC kisses his hand—just like in the film—and then they gently rest their foreheads against each other. I almost pissed myself with excitement. Then, through a series of illustrated slides, we’re shown their wedding and the happy future they build together.

Ну, в общем-то, на этом кино заканчивается, и наши ребята возвращаются в реальный мир. Я готова руки целовать разработчикам за такое внимание к деталям, костюмам, атмосфере и всему остальному. И отдельный комплимент актёру озвучки Зейна. Он прекрасно передал британский акцент и манеру речи той эпохи. Карточка получилась просто чудесной и однозначно попадает в список моих любимых.

And with that, the movie comes to an end, and our two protagonists finally return to the real world. I could kiss the developers’ hands for the incredible attention they paid to every little detail—the costumes, the atmosphere, and everything else. And a special compliment goes to Zayne’s English voice actor. He did a wonderful job capturing the British accent and the style of speech of that era. This card is absolutely wonderful and has easily earned a place among my all-time favorites.

Вот так, здравствуйте. Не успела я вернуться домой и проверить свой Steam, как увидела новость: игра, в которую я играла ещё с релиза восемь лет назад, внезапно получила масштабное обновление. И тут рука сама потянулась заново установить игру, которая мне хоть и нравилась, но за все эти годы так и не оправдала моих надежд.

Well, what a surprise. I had barely returned home and checked my Steam when I saw the news: a game I’ve been playing since its release eight years ago had suddenly received a massive update. And before I knew it, my hand was already reaching to reinstall a game that I always liked, but one that never quite lived up to my expectations over all these years.

Графен там подтянули знатно, переведя игру на новый движок. Освещение, текстуры — всё стало заметно лучше. Игра и раньше выглядела приятно, но теперь визуально ощущается гораздо свежее и красивее. Кое-где добавили новые детали, изменили интерфейс. И всё же это тот же старый Conan Exiles со всеми своими проблемами, багами и кривизной, которые не могут исправить годами.

The graphics have received a major upgrade thanks to the move to a new engine. The lighting and textures have improved significantly. The game already looked decent before, but now it feels much fresher and more visually appealing. They also added new details in some areas and redesigned the interface. That said, it’s still the same old Conan Exiles with all its long-standing issues, bugs, and rough edges that somehow remain unfixed year after year.

Возможно, я буду поигрывать в неё время от времени хотя бы для того, чтобы просто насладиться песочницей: построить какой-нибудь прикольный дом, побегать по карте и пофотографировать красивые виды. А потом с чистой совестью собрать все артефакты и снять браслет с моей девочки, тем самым ознаменовав конец её истории.

Maybe I’ll play it from time to time, if only to enjoy the sandbox experience: build a cool house, wander around the map, and take pictures of beautiful scenery. Then, with a clear conscience, I’ll gather all the artifacts and remove the bracelet from my girl, marking the end of her story.

Друзья, я знаю, что давно не появляюсь и с начала апреля ничего не публиковала. Я решила взять небольшой перерыв, чтобы привести мысли в порядок. У меня бывают периоды, когда я ни во что не играю и совсем нет вдохновения делать фотографии. Сейчас мне предстоит утомительная и морально непростая поездка на родину на продолжительное время (я много лет не была дома). После возвращения планирую вернуться к прохождению Киберпанка и Stray, а также к виртуальной фотографии. Кроме того, мне нужно заняться своим здоровьем — это тоже одна из причин, почему я иногда беру паузы.

Friends, I know I haven’t been around much lately and haven’t posted anything since early April. I decided to take a short break to get my thoughts in order. I go through phases when I don’t feel like playing anything and have no inspiration to take photos. Right now, I have a long and emotionally difficult trip back home ahead of me (I haven’t been there for many years). After I return, I plan to get back to playing Cyberpunk and Stray, as well as virtual photography. I also need to focus on my health, which is another reason why I sometimes take breaks.

Вот я и добралась до восточной карточки Сая. Несмотря на то, что история на мой вкус оказалась слегка пресноватой и банальной, я не могу не отметить потрясающий визуал. Ночная тематика, город огней и небесные фонарики создали атмосферу прекрасной восточной сказки.

So I finally got to Sy’s Eastern-themed card. Even though the story felt a bit bland and predictable to my taste, I can’t help but appreciate the stunning visuals. The nighttime setting, the city of lights, and the sky lanterns created the atmosphere of a beautiful Eastern fairy tale.

Сюжет рассказывает нам о принцессе, которая не хотела выходить замуж по расчёту и поэтому сбежала из дворца (сразу вспоминаю песню из «Бременских музыкантов»). В общем, во время побега она встречает нашего Сайласа — властителя из соседних земель. Забавно то, что принцесса влюбляется в него сразу же, потому что он, ну как бы это… красивый, короче. Вся история строится на том, что принцесса отчаянно пытается понравиться Сайласу и, если уж выходить замуж, то за него, вот только у неё это не очень получается. В конце концов она сдаётся и возвращается во дворец, где уже готова подчиниться воле правителей и выйти замуж за того, кого ей выберут. Но, естественно, наш рубиновоглазый мужик на это не согласен — ведь он уже привязался к ней, поэтому мчится во весь опор, чтобы не допустить этой свадьбы. На том и конец. Любовь-морковь.

The story tells us about a princess who didn’t want to enter a marriage of convenience, so she ran away from the palace (it immediately reminds me of a song from The Bremen Town Musicians). During her escape, she meets our Sylus — the ruler of neighboring lands. What’s funny is that the princess falls for him instantly, simply because he’s… well… handsome, basically. The whole story revolves around the princess desperately trying to win Sylus over and deciding that if she has to marry, it should be him—though she’s not very successful at it. In the end, she gives up and returns to the palace, ready to submit to the will of her rulers and marry whoever they choose for her. But of course, our ruby-eyed man isn’t having any of that — he’s already grown attached to her, so he rushes off at full speed to stop the wedding. And that’s where it ends. A classic love story.

Вот как-то так. Ничего необычного, но миленько, как, собственно, и бывает в таких историях. Отдельное спасибо авторам за причёску МС в виде кошачьих ушек. Их внимание к деталям всегда попадает мне в самое сердце.

That’s pretty much it. Nothing unusual, but cute as stories like this usually are. Special thanks to the authors for the MC’s hairstyle shaped like cat ears. Their attention to detail always goes straight to my heart.

Вообще мне очень нравится запечатлевать именно тёмные и ночные кадры Найт-Сити. Хотя с ними работать тяжелее всего из-за света и теней, которые местами искажают качество изображения. Всё же я скоро перейду и к дневным кадрам, просто для моей истории это пока не требуется.

I really love capturing the dark, nighttime shots of Night City. Although they’re the hardest to work with because of the lighting and shadows, which sometimes distort the image quality. Still, I’ll be moving on to daytime shots soon — it’s just not necessary for my story yet.

Monochrome Rhapsody

Пока мой котик тусует в нижнем городе и знакомится с роботами, я решила сделать несколько снимков. Есть что-то притягательное и одновременно печальное в этих запущенных неоновых трущобах, где всё ещё теплится подобие жизни.

While my little cat is hanging out in the lower city and getting acquainted with the robots, I decided to take a few shots. There’s something both alluring and deeply sad about these rundown neon slums, where some semblance of life still lingers.

Долго я настраивалась на подобную тематику. Фоторежим в игре прямо создан для этого. Не удержалась. Будем считать, что моя Ви решила немного подзаработать, снявшись для одного журнала.

It took me a long time to get in the mood for this kind of theme. The game’s photo mode feels like it was made exactly for this. I just couldn’t resist. Let’s say my V decided to make a little extra money by doing a photoshoot for a magazine.
