My black outdoor male cat, Ink, has been missing over 24 hours. Lost collar, but microchipped. Likely around Home Park / Georgia Tech area. Distinctive features: Green squinty eye(s), scar across nose, and unusually friendly. Please keep an eye out and spread the word!

If spotted or found call or text 404-934-8061 or email mariasot@gatech.edu to discuss a REWARD!

FOUND DOG

Hi Everyone,

A reddish, male Cocker Spaniel Mix was found in Home Park on Wednesday, April 27th. He was first sighted in some bushes next to a tree on Center Street. He had a leash, collar, and flee collar but no tag. Some photos are can be viewed below:

Free Amazon Prime for students

Amazon is currently giving free 1 year memberships to Amazon Prime (free 2 day shipping, $3.99 overnight shipping) to current students with a .edu email address: http://www.amazon.com/gp/student/s…

I'm not sure how long they're offering this (it doesn't say on the site). Just thought i'd give fellow students the heads up on this in case you haven't heard about it yet. This is going to save me a ton on shipping textbooks this year!

Ink is Missing Again!

Ink is Missing Again!

Ink came home! Thanks to everyone that helped spread the word!

Please help me find him! He was last seen outside on Friday, February 19th, 2010 around 7pm in the Home Park/West Midtown neighborhood of Atlanta near 14th Street and Center Street. Although he is an indoor/outdoor cat, Ink usually comes home to eat and sleep and rarely stays out longer than a few hours. He has not been seen since last night. Multiple searches have been held in the surrounding area where he typically roams, but there are no traces of him to be found! Please keep an eye out for my little guy: he's around 2-3 years old, but very petite, wears a light green collar with his home telephone number written on it, has a distinctive battle scar on his nose (see above photo), occasionally squints his left eye, has a brown undercoat, and is very, VERY personable. If you live in the area, please check your basement or crawl-space. If you happen to spot him, leave me a message here or contact me by e-mail at mariasot@gatech.edu

Sunday Special on WREK: Magnetic Fields' 69 Love Songs

Photobucket

It's almost that time of year again: Valentine's Day. This year the much contested holiday happens to fall on a Sunday. To celebrate and commiserate this momentous occasion, former Goldsoundz co-host Jennifer and I will be airing a Magnetic Fields themed Sunday Special on February 14th from 7pm to 9pm EST. During the Special, we will be playing as many tracks off of their epic '69 Love Songs' release as we can fit into the 2 hour set.

So tune in on 91.1 FM Atlanta or www.wrek.org this weekend, because we all know that if there is anyone who understands how you feel about Valentine's Day, it's Stephin Merritt.

xoxo,
Maria
