While playing Warframe, I've occasionally jumped into Recruiting or Trade Chat. While there, I see a lot of acronyms/terms that I don't understand. In Trade Chat, I frequently see WTB or WTS, while in Recruiting Chat, I frequently see H or radshare.

What do these acronyms mean? Are there any other important acronyms/terms in either of these chats I should know?

"WTS" is "Want To Sell", and "WTB" is "Want To Buy". You also might see "WTT", "Want To Trade,", and maybe "OBO", "Or Best Offer".

You'll see these or variants of these in other MMOs too, usually still shortening "buy" and "sell" and "trade". Back in MapleStory in 2005-2010 (when I played), players would say "B> (item) @@@@@@@" and similarly "S> (item) @@@@@" - respectively short for "Buying" and "Selling". (The spam of @ served to make your message bubble larger for visibility.)

You'll probably also see acronyms like "LF" or "LFG", both short for "Looking For (Group)".

"Radshare" is specific to Warframe, and it's short for "Radiant share", where everyone in a group equips the same relic that has been upgraded to Radiant. Relics that have been upgraded further have higher odds of dropping more rare items, and each relic in a group gives another opportunity to get a rare drop, so having everyone in a group with such a relic effectively maximizes the odds of a rare drop.

  • It is a bit sad that as MMOs have introduced more structured market systems (typically to reduce RMT) the ad-hoc market areas with players shouting their wares have disappeared :( Commented 7 hours ago
  • Back in my WoW days, in addition to LFG there was also commonly "LFM" (Looking For More) if you already had a group and wanted to fill it up. Commented 13 mins ago

In a Trade Chat, "WTB"/"WTS" (and "LTB"/"LTS") mean "Want to Buy"/"Want to Sell" (or "Looking to Buy"/"Looking to Sell")

In the Recruiting Chat, "H" means "Hosting" - someone who is starting a Raid, and is looking for people to join their team for it.

"Rad"/"Radshare"/"Radsharing" refers to running a raise where all 4 team members have the same Radiant Relic - i.e., the Radiant Relic is Shared. This is because each Radiant Relic gives you a 10% chance* of receiving a Rare Reward. A related term is "Intshare", with Intact/non-Radiant Relics, which will give you a boosted chance for the Common Reward instead.

* Note that Probabilities are not directly additive; two 10% chances are not a 20% change. Rather, there is a 90% chance of not getting it on the first roll, and a 90% change of not getting it on the second roll. The chance of not getting it either of the 2 rolls is therefore 0.9 x 0.9 = 0.81, meaning the chance of getting it at least once is 100% - 81% = 19%; so, the chance of getting a Rare Reward while Radsharing with 4 people is 1 - (0.9 x 0.9 x 0.9 x 0.9) = 34.39%, not 40%.
