Letzte Woche habe ich die Story schon einmal erwähnt, aber da fehlte mir noch gut die Hälfte und zwischenzeitlich habe ich sie bis zum letzten Wort verschlungen. Mein Gott, war das gut!

Candle, Cup, and Casket by Desiderii (Merlin/Arthur, ~234,000 words). Episches Space AU mit tollem Worldbuilding, einem actionreichen Plot, drohendem Krieg, Raumschiffen, in denen Science Fiction auf Fantasy trifft, vielen bekannten Charakteren in neuen Rollen, die wie auf den Leib geschrieben sind (darunter auch Morgana, die zwar gefährlich, aber nicht wirklich böse ist) und einer Liebesgeschichte, die die Grenzen von Raum und Zeit sprengt. *schwelg*

There's a saying among the Pirates: that one's fate is written in the stars. Destiny will always set to rights what has been made wrong. Arthur and Merlin know that they were meant for the other from the moment they meet. They can feel it from across the galaxies separating them. Nothing can stop them from being together or from fulfilling an ancient prophecy.
