Intro and Question

Hi,
I'm glad I found this community, it looks really cool. I'm a big Firefly geek (really, I'm a geek for pretty much any Joss Whedon show) so I think I'll fit in.

I must admit that I do have an ulterior motive for searching out this community. I'm in a nerdy burlesque troupe and we're doing a star trek show. I loved watching TNG when I was a kid and had a huge crush on Deanna Troi so I want to do an acts as her. The problem is that I haven't seen the show since I was a kid so I don't remember it that well and the show is in august so I don't have time to re-watch the whole show. I always try to be as accurate as possible when I'm paying homage to someone else's character so I'd like to base the act and costume off of a specific episode/scene/storyline.

So my question is this: What are some of your favorite Star Trek episodes featuring Deanna Troi? Preferably something that has a sexy element, but not necessarily. More than anything I want to get reacquainted with the character and I'm sure an idea will surface from there.

So hey, I just started this journal today.
I am, indeed, a friendly geek with many geeky interests, pastimes, and aspirations.
I'm an artist and most of my stuff centres around fantasy, sci-fi, and weird critters. When I am not drawing, I like tabletop RPGs, videogames, biology, books, medicine, and dorking around and having a laugh. My tastes are eclectic and I like stuff from The Beatles to Electronica, to Tibetan Traditional and back when it comes to music.

I'm 21 and located in Northern England, but haven't always been! My life has taken me from continent to continent. I'm totes windswept and interesting, brah.

I also like to discuss politics, philosophy, pirates vs ninjas and other important topics.

 Hi, I just wanted to introduce myself. I am new to live journal, looking to make some friends on here. My life revolves around Star trek (TNG, DS9 and VOY), X-Files and CSI. In fact I created a community dedicated to these three shows, but I haven't figured out how to promote it yet. Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself.
