Which means a September graduation is a greater possibility now! Yay! I tested out of two of the three classes I signed up for! I got a 74% on the Written Analysis test and a 78% on the Computer Forensics test! Sadly, I got a 39% on the Economics and Change testout. Which is a bummer because I really do not want to take that class. :( Oh, well. At least I passed the others!
Jarrett's friend got suite tickets for tomorrow's Bats game, so we're gonna go. I haven't been to a game since that one time Seth got free tickets. The suites are niiiice! Plus, we'll be by the Jack Daniels bar, haha!
I think I'm gonna delete my Myspace page. The friends I have on there are people I have on Facebook, and I prefer to use it. Some of the people on there I don't even want to be friends with anymore anyway, lol. If I miss it, I can always create a new one!
I just got my eye exam done today. The doctor said my vision wasn't bad, but my distance vision could be better. So, I got a prescription for a pair of glasses! They make such a difference! I had no idea how bad my distance vision was until I started having trouble reading road signs and the white board in class. With the glasses, I can read much better! Yay! But they were expensive :(
Also, I found out that I am missing comments from people. Like when I post on someone's lj and they reply with a comment, I never know they do. Maybe I have weird settings?
I went to Covington for a wedding this Saturday, then to IKEA afterwards, lol. Jarrett drove my car while I rode in the passenger seat and Julie in the backseat. About 40 minutes from Louisville on 1-71, Jarrett and Julie start yelling and I look up to see what the big deal is and there's a deer standing in the middle of our lane up ahead! Julie starts screaming and then I grab Jarrett's arm with one hand and the door handle with the other and start screaming also. Jarrett hits the breaks and moves slightly to the right, but not off the road to get around the deer. As we were approaching the deer I was bracing myself for a crash. We didn't come to a complete stop and eventually we sped up again and kept going as usual. I looked behind us and there was a semi truck and a couple of cars who slowed down, but I didn't see the deer. I ask Jarrett "Did we hit it?" because I didn't feel anything. He replies "Barely." "Can we pull over to inspect the car?" I ask and he says "I think we should wait until the next exit."
We get off at the next exit and stop at the first gas station. Jarrett and I get out of the car and go around to the driver's side to look. I didn't see anything until Jarrett pointed out a couple of dents above the wheel. I don't see any blood and I made sure to tell Julie that because she was pretty upset about hitting the deer. Jarrett says he saw it run away towards the median though, so I don't know what happened to it.
Yikes a bee! I can't believe we survived that! We got REALLY lucky!
