The foxes of live journal unite as one

So as you might have noticed, this community got a spambot that had to be dealt with. Due to the fact that the moderator had left livejournal and I was the first to tell him about this spambot, he graciously handed me the reins of moderatorship. Thanks Greatfox!

So, as my first act of moderatorship, I open the floor to this topic:

What does 'being' a fox, as I will make the assumption that you all are humans typing on keyboards, mean to you?

Is it a fursona thing? A spiritual or therianthrope thing? Is it 'I don't like anthropomorphic foxes, just normal foxes, so it's not a fursona' thing? What does the status of being a fox mean to you? How did you decide that fox fit?

Hey- hope this isn't too off-topic.

So, i'm just curious- seeing as how i haven't really settled on my fursona yet, even though all my friends tell me I'm more of a tanuki/ raccoon than a fox- I've always leaned towards fox as my idea. I think I'll probably wind up as some hybrid cross breed etc- but i want to know from some of ya'll. What was it about foxes that made you pick them as your fursona?

I'm a 20 year old, fairly androgynous/tomboyish female living in the northern UK. I'm from Canada.

I'm an artist, I can be found on FA, where I like to be frank and tell things how I see them. I'm pretty much like that all the time. I'm someone who will tell you if your ass looks fat in that pair of jeans. This isn't to say I'm nasty. I'm not undue, I don't cuss people out typically, I just say what I think. I enjoy being polite and civil.
I'm honest and a critical thinker. I'm a fan of science, linguistics, reading, logical thinking, and intellectual pursuits in general. I adhere to quite a few Taoist principles.

I like to rant about furries a lot, and draw all the time. When I'm not doing serious art or commissions under another alias, I'm busting out the MSPaint to make fun of the fandom, which I post in my journal, and occasionally on the aforementioned FA.

I like video-games, but I'm not the kind of person who will sit there for three days straight playing WoW or something. I much prefer older systems, and my most recent one is a GameCube. (Mainly for Resident Evil 4.) Whilst I do keep up on recent video-game happenings and culture, I don't have any of the new-gen consoles and my PC isn't near powerful enough to run recent games.

ok, so like, its been a massive cluster of things going on, and I haven't been here on LJ for like, hell, 2 months now, but hey, I'm working on multitasking, so I'm coming back sorta, but not like I used to.

In the time I've been gone, I've been through two mates, a master, but have finally settled on one mate, and I'm staying with this guy, hes too good to me, and he knows it, but he won't have it any other damn way, so kit can't complain, now can he?

I've been playing a lot of secondlife lately, been in an army, left it, and made my own army, finally the furzi empire will conquer all of the secondlife world, lol. thats where I've been mostly, can't tear myself away from SL for some reason, so if any of you play SL, come im Greatfox Luik, I'm online at all times, literally.

My name is Zack Ranaio and im a furry. im actually a shapeshifter (more than one fursona) and my most used fursona is a fox. ^^.
I am a nice (easily excited) fur and i love it. lets see.....im an artist, a writer, a gay rights activist and a homo (kinda goes together) people start talking and get this place moving

It's been close to 2 months now since I started up this little foxy community, and we have 3 members, me included.
