Fortuna (Japanese: フォトナ Fotona) is the Dagdan Goddess of Fate and God of Causality who appears in Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave.[1] She uses her powers to have Eshmel travel back in time and save the land of Dagda from the demon god Balor to fulfill the quest set to her and Eshmel by Sothis.[2][3][4]
Fortune's Weave's turn rewind mechanic, Fortuna's Blessing, is performed by Fortuna using power passed on to her by Sothis.[5]
Biography
In the year 1454,[2] as the world faced annihilation by the demon god Balor, Fortuna identified four warriors from five years prior with the power to change fate, and she sent Eshmel back in time to intervene in their pasts and gather forces to fight the demon god in the present.[3]
Personality
Fortuna is fickle and easily finds things bothersome.[1]
