Mech Scouter is an enemy in Final Fantasy X.

There are two versions of this machina, an ordinary version, and another on fire. The statistics differ slightly between the two, but are otherwise identical. As with other machina, using steal on them will instantly defeat them.
When Provoked, Mech Scouters will use a physical attack with reduced accuracy, as will burning Mech Scouters when fighting aeons. Against Valefor, Mech Scouters will not attack.
A player will receive one more Grenade from an uncommon steal from the ordinary Mech Scouter and receive more gil from defeating and stealing, while the AP reward for both a normal defeat and an Overkill defeat is higher for the flaming version.
