Mech Defender is a machina enemy in Final Fantasy X encountered on Mt. Gagazet. It will use a physical attack with reduced accuracy if Provoked, and will not attack Valefor. As with most machina enemies, using the Steal command on it will instantly defeat it.

Mech Defender drops armor with any of the SOS elemental defenses as well as SOS Protect, SOS Shell, or SOS Reflect. It will also drop weapons with any of the elemental strikes.
