I cannot tell you how goddamn excited I am to see any vid you might create for me! This is my first year participating in Festivids (or, really, any challenge like this beyond the gift exchange we did for my tiny 7-person D&D-derived fandom) so I am going to cherish this first vid liek whoa.
For general vid preferences: I'm pretty easy to please as far as music choices, I love vids that are character relationship-driven (romantic or non), and I'm less interested in re-telling the plot of the source as I am in highlighting aspects of it, be it the scenery, character-feels, relationships, or general hijinks. But basically have fun, and I am sure I'm gonna love it. <3

Super important movie from my childhood, and I’d love a vid full of wonder and awe and magic. Also Angela Lansbury’s face is the best face in the world, and the arc of her falling in love with all these weird kids while going on adventures is beautiful. Bonus points for including epic Nazi-fighting action.
The Blues Brothers movies [Movie]
WACKY ROADTRIP MOVIES WITH BLUES. What more could you want? I’d love something bouncy and fun and full of hijinks. And to be honest, I greatly enjoy both movies (even though the second is arguably terrible) so footage from both would be awesome.
D.E.B.S. [Movie]
I would love anything focusing on Lucy (I really love staring at her face endlessly) and also her weirdly important friendship with Scud. Also the world is just such a delightful parody of itself that something light and fun would be cool (though I'm less into just a "retelling of the movie in vid-form" type of vid).
Legends of the Hidden Temple [TV]
No lie, I totally am including this on my requests on a whim because I have no idea what kind of vid one could make about this, but I LOVED this show as a nickelodeon kid and was fairly obsessed with it. Just, go nuts and have fun and I trust whatever you do will be delightful.
Luther (2010) [TV]
I am REALLY INVESTED in Luther & Alice Morgan, the bestworst murder BFFS. They are both just so terrible and morally questionable and broken and seem to care about eachother a lot despite being messes. I'm not interested in shipping them, just, platonic murder BFFS forever. Also this show is just goddamn beautiful (including both of their faces) so a gorgeous dark atmospheric vid would be lovely, though something more fun and upbeat could also be excellent; really, go for whatever your heart tells you.
Monsters Inc movie series [Movie]
I LOVE both of these movies, and any vid you make of them will probably fill me with joy, In particular I love: Mike/Sully forever best bros feels, Randall being terrible (surprise), and everything about the University setting- all the characters you see for a split second, the peeks into classrooms, the grounds, the frats/sororities, it’s all just incredibly fun world building and I’m totally into it. Oozma Kappa For Life!
