The Fat Lady Digest is a quarterly hardcopy zine containing fiction, essays and art focussed on themes and characters of Harry Potter fandom.
This community is for our announcements to you.
Why?
This is a chance to memorialise the creative and intellectual face of fandom in a physical format, something of permanency in an overwhelmingly fleeting community. This is your chance to live with the fandom, and hold it in your sweaty hands. Read it in bed, read it on the bus, spill things on it, love it to death, use it as a firelighter in long, cold winters.
This is a chance to share tangibly in the fandom. This is a chance to get the inside edge on exclusive fannish output. This is a focussed development of themes and characters in the fandom, an exploration of intellect and creation, taking it further in collaboration than any single fan can do alone.
Who?
This is by fans, for fans.
