Flumptober was a writing challenge in the Ninjago fandom ran by LuckyBugBooks on Wattpad from 2020 to 2023. It was inspired by Whumptober.[1] AUs, reader inserts, spin-offs and original character-centric stories were allowed. The event did not allow for mature/explicit stories[1], and most of the prompts are for fluff/gen stories.
As of 2026, more than twenty one-shot collections are associated with the challenge.
History
Welcome to the very first Flumptober! Named after my inability to work Ninja into October and my hope that this won't flump I invite the Ninjago fandom to join me in a daily challenge of Ninjago fun! Each day has an exciting new prompt and the challenge is very open so you can skip as many as you want if you so wish! This is not a competition but simply a fun little challenge for us to do over the spooky season of The Day of the Departed!Let's get right into it! Please excuse my cringyness but I really wanted to do this.
