Detailed Walkthrough

The Sole Survivor can talk to Sheng Kawolski and bring up the question of if he has any work that needs doing. Sheng will explain that the source the town draws its water from needs to be cleared of debris and offers this task to the Sole Survivor, at which point they will have the opportunity to negotiate a higher payment for this service through Charisma checks (1st: CHR 8 to get 125 caps instead of 100, 2nd: CHR 8 for 150 caps, 3rd: CHR 9 for 200 caps). The job itself involves searching the irradiated pool for five marked junk items. Once completed, return to Sheng and claim payment for the work.
