Irradiated beer is an aid item in Fallout: New Vegas.
Gameplay[edit]
Irradiated beer is a radioactive variant of Beer, normally produced when a normal beer has been exposed to radiation for an extended period of time. Thus, it will impart 10 units of radiation when consumed, but otherwise provides effects identical to that of non-irradiated beer.
As with all forms of alcohol, irradiated beer is affected by Cass' Whiskey Rose companion perk. With the Whiskey Rose perk, active irradiated beer will not reduce one's Intelligence level once consumed. However, it will still be considered radioactive and will apply radiation to the player character as normal.

Locations[edit]
Irradiated beer can only be found reliably in three locations:
- Seven bottles are found inside the Searchlight Fire Station kitchen, located on the shelf nearest the door. Numerous other irradiated food items, including Irradiated Scotch, Irradiated Whiskey, and Irradiated Potatoes, can be found on these shelves.
- One irradiated beer is located inside a booby-trapped, partially wrecked house just slightly northeast of Mole Rat Ranch, almost due north from Durable Dunn's Sacked Caravan. Though the bottle is initially located on top of the bookcase near the front door, it may be scattered if the nearby Frag Mine is detonated.
A few irradiated beers can be found scattered around the Courier's Mile.
