A new face? Strong, but... not perfect. For a nominal fee, Doc Crocker can give you the looks you've only dreamed about before.Doc Crocker

Doc Crocker is a facial reconstruction surgeon operating in Diamond City in Fallout 4.[1]

Background[edit]

Crocker is the resident surgeon at the Mega Surgery Center,[2] which he has run together with Doctor Sun for the past ten years, despite their differences.[3] He is generally obsessed with faces and how to improve them,[4][5][6][7] has performed surgeries on Abbot, Ann Codman and Geneva, and was consulted by Ellie Perkins.[8]

Crocker has a chem habit which he keeps a secret.[9] He botched his last surgery on his patient Earl Sterling while under the influence of Jet,[10] ending up murdering him,[11] and intends to dispose of his body.[10]

Publications[edit]

Croker is a surgeon in charge of plastic surgery at Diamond City Surgery Center. He is a highly skilled surgeon with a strange personality. Maybe it's because he's a plastic surgeon, he cares so much about the appearance of his patients, hating and even distaining those who look ugly. This led to him committing unforgivable crimes.Fallout Shelter Online Character Descriptions

Doc Crocker: "I'm proposing surgery. Not just any surgery. Facial Reconstruction surgery. Safe and instantaneous. New jaw-line, new eye color, remove scars, add scars. A new you. A more perfect you."

  3. Doctor Sun: "Doctor Crocker, my last three appointments all canceled. Do you know anything about that?"
Doc Crocker: "What? Oh, I told them I'd handle their care personally. I'm sorry, Doctor Sun, but you just don't treat people correctly."
Doctor Sun: "Oh yeah? When's the last time you set a bone or cleaned the Rads out of someone's bloodstream? And it's Doctor Sun! We've been working together for a decade. Get my damn name right!"
Doc Crocker: "You see this is your problem, Doctor. Your bedside manner. If I was in your position, I would've stopped correcting people on the name ten years ago. Let it go. No one cares."
(Doctor Sun and Doc Crocker's dialogue)
  4. Doc Crocker: "Now I really must insist that we talk about that face of yours. So many fantastic modifications available..."
    (Doc Crocker's dialogue)
  5. Doc Crocker: "I could re-sculpt that face of yours into... perfection."

  6. Doc Crocker: "Change your nose? Your ears? The shape of your eyes, perhaps? Anything is possible."
    (Doc Crocker's dialogue)
  7. Doc Crocker: "Your lips. Maybe make them fuller? Softer? Shrink your nose? Taper your ears? Simple surgery. Quick and painless."

  9. Doc Crocker: "Doctor Sun, I've noticed our supplies of chems are running low."
Doctor Sun: "You just noticed? Where have you been? I nearly had to perform my last surgery without any anaesthetic."
Doc Crocker: "You did? Oh... It's just... I have an urgent need for more chems. A complicated procedure for later in the week..."
Doctor Sun: "What procedure? I didn't see anything scheduled."
Doc Crocker: "Oh my dear Doctor. This one isn't on the books! Some people don't want everyone to know they've had a facial reconstruction."
Doctor Sun: "All right. Well, I already put in an order anyway, so you'll get your chems soon enough. Don't worry."

  10. 10.0 10.1 Sole Survivor: "So you were performing surgery, and Earl didn't make it, is that it?"
Doc Crocker: "I might have had just a bit of Jet before operating. So I nipped a few arteries I shouldn't have? Who hasn't? But I'm a problem solver, you see? I knew if Earl 'disappeared' everyone would just think the Institute took him. That's what they do! That's what they've always done. As long as there's no body, everyone just assumes. And that's why Earl's body needs to go away."
    (Doc Crocker's dialogue)
  11. Doc Crocker: "Oh, Earl. You've... you've really been a handful, you know? But I think we're just about done. Our little mistake is finally going to be... corrected. Oh, naughty, naughty! You're not supposed to be down here! But that's okay. I can fix that. I can fix anything."
Sole Survivor: "What did you do to Earl Sterling, doctor?"
Doc Crocker: "What did I do? I didn't do anything. It was Earl who didn't want to be happy. Good patients get a nice, new face. Bad patients bleed all over the floor because they want to screw up their surgeon's life!"
    (Doc Crocker's dialogue)
