Corn is a crop that appears in various forms throughout the wastelands.

Background[edit]

Corn and maize are consumable items, grown across the former United States. The plant grows into a tall, leafy stalk, producing ears of corn that can be harvested and used as food or broken down into components such as vegetable starch.

Before the Great War, Abraxodyne Chemical created World of Corn, a tourist attraction in Ohio to promote Abraxodyne's pesticides.[1] Corn is grown commonly across the wastelands, such as throughout New California. Locations such as the Hub have successfully established large fields of corn. Farmers in the Mojave Wasteland are able to grow maize despite the desert environment and Freeside residents mention corn as part of their diets.[2][3] Vault 33 grows corn as it's primary crop.[4]
