Behemoth (robot)

FO76 publicteam xpd.pngFor an overview of the topic, see Behemoth.

The Behemoth is a large robot used by the Calculator in Fallout Tactics.[1]

Gameplay[edit]

The Behemoth has 1028 Hit Points and high Damage Resistance. Its minigun has a relatively short range, but can easily kill a character on a critical hit. The weapon uses .50 Cal rounds. Any ammunition the robot does not use can be scavenged from its corpse.

Behemoths normally move at a plodding pace when on patrol or in transit, but will charge quickly if they spot a target and continue to follow them.

Notes[edit]

  • Defeating the behemoth at Cheyenne Mountain, near the entrance to Vault 0, is worth about 4800 Experience Points. This is more than any other creature that can be defeated in Fallout Tactics.
  • Behemoths will appear in random robot encounters in the Rocky Mountains later in the game.
  • Targeted critical hits at their eyes can briefly knock them unconscious.

Appearances[edit]

The Behemoth appears in Fallout Tactics.

Behind the Scenes[edit]

A bug mentioned for the quest Get Key to Armory in the Van Buren Tibbets Prison design document mentions a Behemoth Robot.[Doc 1] Additionally, the scripting section for the same design document also mentions Behemoth robots,[Doc 2] which also appears as boilerplate in the Blackfoot Tribe design document.
