Beatle icontest.

Since the first contest doesn't have enough entries for voting, it is being extended until next week on Friday, May 27th at 10:00PM EST.

Also, a question: anyone who's watching this community, can you give some input on why you haven't submitted icons? Are you watching this community for the voting and don't intend to enter contests, are you busy, or is the contest theme boring? The other mod and I were thinking of going through all the movies as the first several contest ideas, but we could easily do something else if that would be more interesting! If someone has other suggestions for prompts, post them here! :)

Contest #1!

For the first round of contests, we're going to be going through all of the Beatles' movies, starting with A Hard Day's Night. Icons can be made from any screencaps from the movie and any promotional photos (eg, movie posters), as well as behind-the-scenes pictures taken.

But feel free to use any images you can find! beatlepics is a very good resource, naturally.~


ॐ Up to three icons per contestant
ॐ Don't post the icons elsewhere until the voting has ended and a winner has been announced (to prevent voters from knowing the icon makers)
ॐ No animated icons
ॐ To submit icons, either give a link to the icon(s) or post the images in a comment (all comments are screened)


All entries must be in by Friday May 20th at 10:00pm EST, though of course extensions aren't unheard of. :)

Well, the other mod and I debated briefly on whether or not to leave this open-ended or provide questions for you guys to answer, and we decided on giving the members a form to fill out, so no one feels awkward if they don't know what to say. xD Feel free to use this as a friending meme, a chance to talk, or anything else you want, though; and you needn't be restricted to just using the form I'll be posting in a moment. We'd really like this to be a community, not just a place for contests. :3
