CS1 maint: deprecated archival service and MCU pages
editThis PetScan query gives pages that are in Category:CS1 maint: deprecated archival service and have "Marvel Cinematic Universe" in their page. Probably a lot that are not really task force articles, but enough valid entries that are. Gonnym (talk) 18:46, 25 June 2026 (UTC)
- Is this for pages still using archive.is? - Favre1fan93 (talk) 19:15, 25 June 2026 (UTC)
- Correct. I have noticed it is used more frequently in some of the show and more recent film articles. Thank you for this list, Gonnym! This has been something I have been meaning to get around to. I'll try finding alternative archives at Wayback and Ghostarchive where applicable. Glad to have an adequate way to maneuver through them now. — Trailblazer101🔥 (discuss · contribs) 19:20, 25 June 2026 (UTC)
- Ok, so the above query for some reason isn't catching all pages. I've tried using this which gives more results. Gonnym (talk) 21:15, 25 June 2026 (UTC)

Jeff Sneider / The InSneider WP:RS and WP:MCURS
editWanted to give notice of something relevant to this WikiProject: fellow editor @Newslinger has posted some concerns regarding Jeff Sneider's reporting as an WP:RS, which is a matter of concern for the MCU taskforce. The addition of Sneider to the WP:RSPLIST (by me, a year ago) was not backed by a sufficient level of WP:RFC-backed community discussion, and removal from the RSPLIST has been made.
WP:SPS and WP:BLP concerns regarding the sources viability remain up in the air, as they always do with sources of this nature. I posted my 2 cents on that bold linked discussion, figured the members of this project (whose frequent use of this source was the background for the first major RSP Noticeboard discussion of the source way back when. - I have responded with my thoughts there. Thanks for the heads up. — Trailblazer101🔥 (discuss · contribs) 03:07, 15 July 2026 (UTC)

editThere is an additional discussion happening regarding Development of Blade (Marvel Studios film) and what, if anything, should be done to the article following recent comments from Feige and Ali. The discussion is here. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 15:25, 2 August 2026 (UTC)
