I bounce around projects a lot, but some things I've stuck with for longer than most include answering COI edit requests, AfC reviewing, recent change patrolling, new page patrol (mostly redirects) and closing redirect discussions, and adding short descriptions. On the content end, I've worked on decrufting and improving the sourcing on dog breed articles, writing articles on (perhaps surprisingly!) notable fandom topics, and expanding small mammal stubs. Sometimes I also write userscripts:

  • Preview Redirect Context helps review redirects. It searches for the redirect text within the target page, and provides a snippet of the surround context if it is found. It also searches for the redirect elsewhere onwiki to check for possible alternate targets. Primarily intended for NPPs.
  • RfD Info provides easy access to useful information on an RfD nomination, such as any significant history, backlinks, previous AfDs, and whether the redirect is mentioned in the target.
  • Watchlist RfDs watchlists all RfD pages older than 10 days. Useful if you are an anxious baby admin who wants to watch how all the nontrivial closes go.
  • Hide Relisted does what it says on the tin on deletion venues. Useful if you're often in the backlog pages that are 90% closed discussions and relists.
  • Catwalk: walks through pages in the provided categories. I made it to more easily go through the CSD categories I was interested in patrolling without having to manually check each one individually, but I'm sure it has other possible uses.

I actively want feedback, even if it's below the level where you'd normally raise a complaint with someone. And feel free to ping me again or drop a note on my talk page if I haven't replied to something for more than two days, I can be absent-minded and things drop off my radar pretty often. If I reviewed your COI edit request

...feel free to ping me for followup questions, but reviewing one of your requests doesn't mean I'm going to continue reviewing all followups. In some cases I may also review only part of a request. In that case I try to make it clear that I will not necessarily get back to it but sometimes forget, sorry! Other editors should always feel free to jump in on "my" reviews.

Unfortunately there is often a long wait especially for long, complicated, or controversial requests - please remember that we are all volunteers doing this in our spare time. To increase the chance of a fast review, I recommend splitting your request into small pieces, submitting potentially controversial, promotional or otherwise difficult to check requests separately from simple updates and corrections, formatting your requests with before and after diffs, and citing every change.
