Usage notes
editThe exact botanical identification of kunti is uncertain. Teichelmann and Schürmann (1840) described it as “a root of red colour and bitter taste, which the natives roast and eat”.[1] This may refer to the red tubers of the scented sundew (Drosera whittakeri), though it could equally have referred to another plant species.[2]
