I began contributing to Wiktionary to fix inconsistencies I saw while using it, and the majority of my edits still consist of that. I love the idea behind Wiktionary, but anyone who uses it regularly will notice that it lacks a certain degree of professionalism that other dictionaries have. I hope that with time, this will improve, but for now I have to content myself with the little bit I can do.
Nearly anything related to languages and linguistics interests me, from the way language families are related to each other to tiny differences between dialects to the etymologies of words to the way children speak and learn languages.

This is a subpage documenting the hundreds of terms I have encountered, mostly while reading, that are not defined on Wiktionary. Some terms are easy to add, but I haven't done so because (a) I want to make sure I can cite them properly and accurately, which takes time, and (b) because I primarily use Wiktionary rather than editing it, so I am mostly making my list available to those who have more time for editing than I do. In many cases, I have more detailed records offline of where I found the term, which means that I can usually supply at least one cite for a word. If you create an entry on my page, feel free to mention me in the edit summary and request that I add a cite.
