FOUR MONTHS AND TWENTY DAYS UNTIL I GRADUATE!!!

It's about freaking time.

I went out with Melissa tonight to visit people working preseason. I got back in time to watch the finale of American Idol, but I needed a shower...I had set the DVR to record it, so I wasn't too worried. After my shower, I fast forwarded to the end to see who won. Just as Ryan said "and the winner is..." my DVR cut off!!! If the show goes even a second over, it cuts off the end. I had to look it up online to see the winner.

Gah!!!

Random I know. Anyway, the summer is going ok. I spent last week sleeping and resting. I'm working all this week.

I went hiking with Jenna and Kayla today. It was so much fun! I didn't get lost driving up the mountain, and I didn't die climbing up the rest of the mountain. It's really pretty up there.

Block Party's this weekend! I'm reffing Beer Olympics tomorrow, then I'm watching UFC at my cousin's house. It should be a good time.

Time to clean up my room and hop in bed, so I can get up early tomorrow to prepare everything.

Things accomplished so far today:
1. Registered for GREs for October 4.
2. Saved Progress Monitoring Devices as PDFs at work so I can open them at home. I will hopefully have my Office CD tomorrow so I load it and open the regular Word files.
3. Convinced my mom that it would be a good idea for me to skip 2 days of classes to go see Celtic Thunder at Radio City with her on October 7. It was her birthday present to herself.

Things to do today:
1. Update Honors website.
2. Write RDE for this week.
3. Call the University of Virginia to schedule a tour.
4. Call NYU to meet with the head of the Special Ed Grad department.

I feel as though I haven't had a break all year, and to be completely honest, I'm burnt out. Anyone else agree with me?

Last week, I worked every day except for Tuesday. I actually put my phone on silent so I couldn't hear if Sub Services called me. I know it's horrible, but I needed a day to myself. I also didn't sleep well at all. I fall asleep with the TV on at school, which I can't do at home because I don't have a TV in my room. I don't get Spring Break next year because I'll be student teaching. Gah! I just need a week of nothing...

Remember how I said my wrist was fine? Well..it's sprained.

I'm excited to see the Vagina Monologues tonight. I heart the monologues.

2008 Presidential Candidate Matching Quiz

This is going to sound stupid, but I'm aggravated about my grades this semester. I want to get a 4.0 one semester and this is the second time I've missed it because of one stupid A-. Grrr...it was my own fault too. I missed handing in two little papers for a project because I skipped over that line on the rubric. Dammit!

I'm happy that I did well though.
