how does it work?
does it make you feel terrible?
how effective is it?
side effects?
usually how much does it cost? I do not have health insurance.
I also do not have a job.
I am 21 years of age.
I looked on the planned parenthood website
is that the only place the offers it? what about over the counter?

Hey Everyone,
Last night I had unprotected sex and I found out the condom broke. I went to the ER to get the Plan B pill two hours later, the first pill at 4am. I wasn't thinking this afternoon with Easter celebrations and I had a couple of sips of beer in my system. 45 minutes ago I just toke my second pill with a bunch of waters hoping the alcohol won't effect the pill. I wasn't thinking right and now I'm worried I just fucked myself over with some of the beer I had around this afternoon. My last period was Feb 28th and I know I'm supposed to be due this week and I've heard it will deplay by a week/two. I'm freaking out and already scared enough with the unprotected sex and all. If anyone could help me out it would be great, thanks.

hi everyone. here's the situation. i started kariva (bc pill) on the sunday after my period. i had sex after being on it for less than a week and decided to use plan b just to be safe. a day or so after that my anxiety and depression began to increase. now it's become unbearably bad, to the point where i'm having near anxiety attacks and heart palpitations. i think it's probably the kariva, but i've been on kariva before and i don't remember having side effects this severe. could it possibly be the plan b causing a more dramatic reaction? has anyone experienced emotional side effects after taking plan b? if so, how long did it last?

I have been on Ortho Try Cyclen lo for approximately 9 months, originally it was perscribed to me to improve my skin. My boyfriend and I started having sex one month ago, and we always use condoms. However, last night, one broke and we didn't notice. Should I go to the pharmacy and ask for ECP ? Should I be concerned ?? I worry about everything and everything :(

I took ECP, (plan B) on Saturday October 6th. 6 hours after having sex and the condom fell off. Fine.. problem is. the condom slipped off again on Sunday and on Monday. Should I have taken plan b again? or am I still okay. I'm freaking out here. Being pregnant would be the worst at this time in my life. My last period ended on Sept 20th. So i'm stil not due for my period. I'm going to start BC once my period comes. What should I do?

I asked the people at the clinic nearby and they said I can take EC. i took it last night at 10, and i also took diarrhea medicine hours before, just in case it is more than loose bowels. but when i woke up this morning at 8, i had to go again and it was loose again. had i absorbed the EC at the time (it was at least 10 hours in my system), or did I pass it out of my system?

hi i had a problem last week with the antibiotics last month (2nd half of the month), but today i had my period so i'm ok for now.

anyway, just some concerns. i had loose bowels saturday, when i was taking the 2nd to the last pill until last tuesday, although i did not go to the bathroom more than three times. also, on tuesday, my boyfriend and i followed the condom video advice, so last night we tried it. the condom didn't slip, but there was some thick liquid at the shaft. we don't know if it's either my discharge or his spill, so i want to know if i should take ec even when i have my period now, or if taking my pills earlier will help. thanks.

on july 14 i got my period.
on july 22, a boy attempted to have sex with me. he did not have a condom on and only the head of the penis got in me and then we stopped. i am not sure about pre-cum but i don't think ther was any because we werent fooling around before that.
On july 23, i took the morning after pill even though the doctor says she didn;t think it was needed but if it made me feel better then fine.
July 28 i recieved another period. the doctor said this is normal because it can make your period come anywhere from 1-2 weeks earlier then expected.
august 21, i recieved my period. 25ish days later. normal for me.
now, its september, and it's 30 days later and my period isn't here. i havent had any sexual encounters that could get me pregnant since. all my friends are telling me to calm down because they believe it is close to impossible for me to be pregnant. i am pretty sure i was ovulating early in the month because i had a brownish discharge and i always get that when ovulating.

my quesiton is, is this normal? can the pill screw up your period for a few months?

OK so I've been having a painful throat infection since last week and went to te doctor. She gave me antibiotics Co-Amoxiclav, and I told them I was on the pill. she said that it wouldn't affect my Gynera pills. After 7 days my throat still hurts and i went to another doctor to give me an ENT exam. He told me to take a new antibiotic, Clindamicyn HCl. I asked him about the old and new antibiotics, and he said that they wouldn't affect my pills. But I read here that it's not safe. What's your opinion?

Also, I'd like to ask if taking ECs twice in a cycle would hurt, because I think I need one. Didn't have sex the whole time during medication until last night and we still use condoms. but at the start (we were starting, no penetration yet), when he wore the condom i had to wipe some pre-cum on his shaft with a tissue until it's dry. do i have to worry?
