Hi, guys. Spifftastic to meet you all (or at least to be part of the same community...)!
I'm Jack; I've been officially pagan since I was, erm, hmm. 12, perhaps? Anyway, several years now. I draw mostly from my Celtic roots, but lately I've been interested in some of the Greek goddesses (namely Nyx and Artemis). How exciting is that?
Currently, since I realize that was kind of a very brief intro but I don't know what else to put in, I'll throw out a question! Do any of you, and I realize there aren't all that many members yet, but still, know any queer deities? I know a little (as in, a VERY little) about the Native American idea of two-spirited persons or deities, which implies androgyny, etc., and I'd love to learn more about that. Woo, ok, done now.
Being an eclectic pagan myself, I have naturally been seeking out a group that would understand these views. My search coming to an unfruitful end, I decided to make my own community. Eclectics in my way of thinking, are those Pagans, and I stress the word pagan here, who have found there selves drawn to the Pagan spirtuality, but not one particualr sect, such as Wiccan, Druidism, Dianic, Gardnerian, ect... Instead they have found themselves searching through each set of beliefs and finding those 'bits and bobs' which they were drawn to, and thus creating a faith unto themselves; individual and yet still part of the Pagan Spirituality.
To you who have found your puzzle peices on a long and uncharted path, I welcome you as my kith and kin and offer a safe haven to share anything and everything; wether it is faith related or life related. Please come in and take a load off, you will not be judged, but rather loved for your individuality.
