Dolls in anime

I was just curious, are there anime fans and what are your favourite series?

I've watched all of Rozen Maiden and I really like it, I'm looking forward to the third season and hope they ship the fighting game.

I really like the character Sasori in Naruto Shippuuden, he's a member of the Akatsuki and uses mobile dolls just like the Kankurou character.

There is also that puppetmaster in Rurouni Kenshin who you learn about in the manga but not the anime.

Then there is a doll episode or two in Vampire Princess Muyo, it's very interesting.

Plus, I'm not sure if this applies, but in the anime Chobits, until she is activated and becomes mobile, Chii is a lifeless doll, androids (in this case a Persocom android) are much like dolls in that they are made to resemble humans.

The series which predates this and is a precursor is called Angelic Layer. In it all the dolls are minis.

Both series have been referenced in the new anime "Tsubasa Chronicle" which sadly seems to be cancelled but the manga is still ongoing.

Essentially, through all of these anime, I've sort of grown to love dolls more, I dunno why, lol.

Hello ^_^
I just joined this community, so let me introduce myself first.

My name is Sabriell, 22 years old and I have been into ABJD at least 5 years now. I now have 2 dolls [owned/sold many dolls before them] but I love these 2 dearly and will never sell them.

A bit about them:
Kaoru is a Dollshe SA Bermann, he has been with me for over a year now. I ordered him from Tensiya.
Die is a normal skinned Hound IM from LUTS, he arrived 3 days ago [27/04/06] and he is the boyfriend of Kaoru ^_^

Yes I used the names of my 2 favourite JRocker from the band Dir en Grey, but the characters are their own...and not from Diru at all ^_^
