so i managed to snap some halfway decent cell-phone photos of soma and sibyl, mostly just to show off soma's new wig, which doesn't look all that rad in these pictures, but is the cutest thing in the universe in person, and turns her into a super cuddly muppet-esq "white goth" looking sort of girl.

so Soma's third wig came in the mail, now she has fluffy spiky white hair, and it's soooo cute, i just can't put her down.

although my camera has new batteries.. it's broken T___T this world just doesn't want me to take pictures. errrr. oh well, i put her into all white and off white clothes and she looks freakin' darling.

also, i'm not sure if i mentioned it last updated, but i repainted velouria's face, so she's getting a bit of attention too, and i fixed my blythe doll sibyl's matting and got rid of some of her makeup and she looks much better. she's wearing yellow today, and looks adorable. and here i am without a camera *sigh*

i bid two largely shapeless white 'american girl doll' dresses on ebay today for super cheap, i figure with some minor modifications they'll look sweet on soma, if i get them. if i don't, not the end of the world. ebay is such a strange thing. i want to make soma more raver bracelets, and i think i'm going to start (somewhat passively) looking for pale pink eyes with "cataracts" because i think she would make a freakin hot/creepytastic blind albino doll. maybe i'm just weird.

also, new icons.

batteries!!!! yay, i can take pictures again *grin* so here, at long last, are the first photos of Soma in her lovely blonde human hair wig (it's so soft!)

Soma's white wig still hasn't arrived yet, so i'm giving it another week before i email the person who sold it to me again (i asked politely, and she said she sent it and didn't know why it hadn't arrived yet, and i said i'd wait a bit longer and let her know what's up, so that's the plan)

she's been wearing her blonde wig until today when i decided to switch to black again, and i made her a faerie-looking green skirt today and my room mate improvised a blue tube top (longer than the purple and white one) for her last night, so she's in a new outfit and looking adorable. i really, really wish i had batteries for my camera tonight. i'm so broke, i shouldn't spend any money until next month at all. x__x we'll see...

and i have so many pictures!! easter weekend was amazingly fun, and soma and i went to a BJD meet up in Sacramento, i have tons of pictures from it. Also, i cut her blonde wig last night, so it fits now (but i don't have any pictures of it yet). on saturday soma was given a short black wig, so now she has two wigs that fit her (and a new shirt, new necklace, new bracelets, and new stockings, oh my!)

new outfit (sort of)!! i improvsed another hat and a tube top for her, so she's finally out of her default leotard/swimsuit *dances* and her new wig should be here tomorrow, or the day after at the latest.

soma, eisenwayli and i went out yesterday. soma decided to dress like a little gypsy - we did the best we could for the time being, since she has virtually no clothes T^T this will hopefully change soon. (warning: image heavy, 11 pictures. some of them will be submitted to my deviantart account lachrymose-dollfie shortly)

my beautiful girl, elfdoll; rainy; sooah. Soma, named for the fictional "perfect drug" from A Brave New World, for the Smashing Pumpkins song, and for the ancient Iranian ritual "god drug".

the wig i ordered for her doesn't fit, so for now she'll just have to deal with being bald, and i don't really have and clothes for her, save the swimsuit she came in and a makeshift skirt which once was most of a barbie wedding dress.
