It's pronounced "digital shee". The Sidhe are some of the faerie folk of Irish legend, descended from the Tuatha Dé Danaan, and were probably part of the inspiration for Tolkien's elves. I like the dichotomy of an ethereal creature out of fantasy legend, that nonetheless masters and enjoys playing with 21^st-Century technology and concepts. "Digital Sidhe" was also my DJ name, back when I did any DJing. It's a good fit for the kind of music I liked to play (and still would like to): forward-looking, gothic/industrial and even EBM, but also with a lot of mystical, Celtic, and naturalistic influences.

I’m bisexual, ambidextrous, and bi-Coastal; polyamorous, polytheistic and poly-talented. I don’t like either-or questions. Bringing me to Baskin-Robbins is a bad idea. It’s not that I’m indecisive, it’s just that I can see the good points on all sides, and I want it all. Is it any wonder I worship Lugh Samildanach?
