Warning/An/Genre:Humour/drabble/a bit odd. Based on a quote from my lecturer: "There's nothing rude about these pictures...Though I may just lack the imagination to see it."
Summary: Yamato muses on the similarities and differences of him and Taichi in regards to Daisuke, while our favourite goggle-wearing leaders muse about the shapes clouds take.

Daisuke was special, in a sense. Yamato still remembered when Taichi had inappropriately shouted that he was like some strange love child of theres. Despite Tai's crudeness, the topic of Daisuke's similarities and differences to the both of them were often mused about.

A dirty frayed hat had been placed on the stool. Everyone was silent and I think Daisuke was holding back giggles while Mimi was repulsed at how old and ugly it was. That revulsion turned into a wide expression of shock as the hat started a dry old song.

Over at digilife, we find ourselves short a Jou and Koushiro, among others. Particularly, we're looking for players willing to do the research needed for such specialized characters as these two, though if you're just up for fun, there's always the digimon/siblings/Internationals/Dark Seeds/D-1 tamers (I'll warn you though, the mods will cackle and pounce on you gleefully if you app a D-1 kid). Now, we are plot-heavy and realism-oriented, so some willingness to put some effort into it is expected.

Digimon Redux RPG
In 2001, on Earth, a group of children go on a school camping trip. Seven children vanish during the first day with no trace. Since then and the case has gone cold. Only the families of the missing children remember what happened. In the Digital World, though, seven children have turned from saviors into tormentors and tyrants. The Digidestined, children chosen to rescue the DigiWorld, have instead enslaved the world to their wills. Nine years later, Gennai is finally able to send out for help. So begins Digimon Redux.

To try to inject some life into it, I have a question:

How would you say the hypothetical concept of Digimon having their own children is treated in fanfiction? (I've seen summaries discussing so-and-so Digimon's kids, but haven't actually read them; I've seen fanart of the same thing.)

ETA: How the concept is treated, and how you think it should be treated.

The Premise

After the Chosen Children managed to restore peace to the Digital World, everything returned to normal. The Digimon population regulated itself naturally, and tranquility returned to the land.

Or so one would think.

Now, Lillithmon and her S.Incorporation are taking things into their own hands to smash the peace and plan a Digimon invasion of both worlds.


Further Explanation

DigiWorld is currently under new management, but everything that has happened so far will stay the same. Digimon have been sighted in the real world by the Chosen Children. The gate between the Digital World and the real world has been malfunctioning - Koushirou deduced that it is acting in a selectively permeable way, allowing Digimon to be transported through without their knowledge, but preventing humans from doing the same. Daisuke and Iori have been reunited with their Digimon under puzzling circumstances and the rest are wondering if their partners will appear in the near future. And behind the scenes, a new group of villains is beginning to brew up trouble. Are all these events connected? Only time will tell.

Once we have everyone, we will continue with the plot. In terms of retconning the year we missed, we are continuing just as we were, assuming it is the same year, and recognizing seasonal changes starting in September. Nothing too tricky!

Hi all! Newbie here

As the post topic says, I'm looking for a beta reader/muse for my Digimon Tamers fic The Dark Guardians. Some of you might know it by its original name The Dolphin's Cry, which it went by when it was first published on ff.net in 2004-ish. It's since been revamped, but I'm currently looking for someone to be my beta, since I'm stuck on chapter ten and have been for a long time now.

Summary: AU, dark, slash (Leekato, Hirokenta, Makziaoai and Ruki), onesided Ryoki, onesided KageTaka. Rifts between the Tamers will be closed as Jenrya and Takato return from a six-year self-imposed exile in the Dejitarusekai to complete their destiny as the Dark Guardians.

The story begins shortly after Megidramon's battle with Beelzebumon, but takes place in a different timeline where the Tamers shunned Takato for causing Gillmon to transform into Megidramon, but Jenrya disagreed and went with him. Six years later they return to protect Shuichon from the revived Daevas and Kagemon, the one looking to erase the human world.

I won't spoil the story for anyone, but it would be really helpful if I could get a beta reader for this ^_^ Only requirement is that you must like slash/yaoi/bl.

I'm sure some of you have seen the Kink Memes floating around, and I decided to start one for Digimon.

If you haven't seen a kink meme before, you basically post a request anonymously including desired pairing and kink. Then someone else anonymously answers your request. It's good practice for all of the writers/artists out there, and tends to get some really good results. Tell your friends too, the more requests and fics we get,the longer this can keep going!
