Digilife: A post-Digimon Adventure 02 RPG

Back, Marias gonna have alot to post about since a good amount of the east coast flooded due to Irene. People still have no electricity, but thankfully I've had it intermittantly. The random consistant blackouts killed my router, and my schools gym was a shelter until last week. I finally have consistant internet and my dad trusts the electricity to stay on long enough to not kill the new router 8D. I had internet for the first time monday.

A friend of mine is still out a home, so he's house bouncing. It's been pretty scary. Had about two and a half feet of water in the basement ;_; lost a bunch of books again.

Living at my county college at the moment thanks to being evacuated last week. At least there's power, though it took them a bit to get the internet back up.
I'll probably be pretty active till the end of the week when I head off to school -due to the fact that my job is pretty much under water too. Thankfully we live on a high floor,so I figure our stuff is safe, but the super has to get everything inspected before everyone moves back since the basement and entire first floor flooded.

Le sigh.

Hi guys!

I just wanted to apologize for disappearing on everyone the last week or so, and for having to be out another week: My best friend recently passed away, and as much as I wish that would make everything just stop, it has not stopped the usual mid-semester assignment due date hell, and my due date extensions have been pretty short. Heh.

But once I'm back, I would love to get in on the digiport plot with y'all, because my characters not only need to meet people, but they have been avoiding the digital world and need to have that confront them again ;)

Good evening/morning/whatever!

It's time to mix things up a bit, because the plot we had planned needs more people and will have to be put on the backburner. Due to data loss and corruption, and Black Wargreymon's sacrifice, the digiports aren't acting like they used to. The usual, D-3 activated digiports will remap to places other than their usual target. Por ejemplo, if Ken intended to go to the Village of Beginnings, he may accidentally end up at Digitamamon's restaurant, or the Digimon Graveyard from season 1 where Jou and Sora ran into the Bakemon cult, or somewhere completely different (say, Innsmouth at the Dark Ocean). These remappings only work for the Digital World, they will not accidentally port Ryo to New York City (where he'd then get lost for 10 months and somehow end up in Yosemite).

One more thing? Due to the glitching that comes of the Digital World trying to make up for corrupted or lost data, natural digiports can and will pop up unexpectedly, infrequently, and just may accidentally swallow up your character's best friend/sister/etc. Natural digiports are those that don't require digivices, a la Hikarigaoka in the first movie and the campgrounds in the first season.

Let your characters explore outside their social circles! Have Wallace meet up with Chichos for a flirt-off, or Taichi run into Ash, or whatever suits your fancy! Have fun with it!

Hi, everyone!

I'm so sorry I've been mostly out as of late with Taichi -RL's been exceptionally hard on me lately as I've recently moved in with my Mom and Grandpa; it's a good thing, and we've gotten virtually everything moved over except for a few odds and ends. Reorganizing is just as annoying as the packing & moving was!

But even though I'm still not totally done reorganizing my new room, I promise to be just as dedicated to the game as I was many moons ago. I love you all, and many thanks.

So yeah! I'm back. :)

I'm sorry I've been so MIA but I feel like life ate me up and spat me back out (Thank god I didn't turn into the stuff!!) That being said, I'm dropping as your Yamato. I had sooooo much fun playing, but unfortunately, RP via LiveJournal just isn't my thing anymore. I don't feel its fair for me to hold you guys up any longer, and I want you to get a Yamato worth playing with.

digilife's profile page has gotten a long overdue makeover. Check it out! And tell me if it looks particularly bizarre for you (and if so, what browser and possibly screen resolution you're using), if the color palette's really hard on your eyes, any accessibility/technical issues like that.

Also: If you're an international/family/D-1 player, tell me if you want your digimon listed with your kid, ie. you never expect nor want someone else to play them and you're NPCing them for the long haul, or under "open characters", ie. you wouldn't mind someone playing them (I will of course put in a note that any prospective players need to contact you to get all the details of how you see the character and their pre-existing relationships).
