(no subject)

I'm tired, achy and have theater makeup all over my face. But I wanted to at least say hi before I slouched off to bed.

The dress rehersal tonight didn't go very well. My headset didn't work, and as a result people missed their cues. But still it was quite amazing to sit there on stage and talk to the kids. Hopfully I'll feel the same way tomorrow (when I get picked up at 7.45 am *yawns*)" We have two shows tomorrow and I hope to be done at 2 pm. Then there are two more shows on Tuesday, same hours, and then I'm done. I've decided to celebrate by going to the movies, possibly on Wednesday.

The Lucia celebration in church yesterday was great. I know I'm biased, but Sofia has a really beautiful voice. :) Then I hurried off to Helena's b-day bash, which was awesome. And while I did get a tad drunk and stayed up too late, it was worth it! :D

Tomorrow is the last day Café 23 is open this year. I went there tonight and had my usual nachos, I'll try to do the same tomorrow. But now I need to wash this crap off my face and go to bed before I become alert again....

I'd write something here if I had come up with anything

Got a text from Jennie yesterday morning, telling me I had a Christmas gift waiting.... :D I think I know what it is, but I'm not unwrapping it before Christmas. While I was at Gallerian I bought a little present for Ina.

Hung out with Roachie for a while in the afternoon before I had to go to Småstaden. Took me almost 30 minutes to get there because I was an idiot and went the shorter route instead of the longer one that is free of snow for the most part.... *is an idiot*

I met Lenco almost immediately after I'd entered the mall. It's interesting how months can go buy without meeting someone even though you live in the same town! I then visited some stores since the movie (The Day the Earth Stood Still) wouldn't start in hours. I caught Ina by complete suprise with my gift. But she'd talked about how she hadn't sketched in ages, and I just couldn't help myself!
Popcorn

I then went back to the theater café and had some tea (thanks!) until Erika arrived. The movie was quite good, and even though D forgot about my popcorn until over half of the movie had passed that was okay. You really didn't have to size it up and give me another water, but thanks! :D

Afterward I was planning on going to the Lucia party at Polstjärnan, but there was just so much snow and Pitebo hadn't cleared the yard in hours, so I had problems just getting inside.... I even ended up clearing some snow myself because I was a bit pissed off about it. Then I stayed up for way too long so that I overslept (as I do every Lucia Day) and missed the Lucia celebration on TV. But I'm going to a Lucia concert where the kidlets perform instead, so it's all good.

Tonight it's the combined Helena's b-day party/RFSL member party at Polstjärnan. Here's to hoping the snow's not too bad when I have to go.... But now I have to get ready before Mom picks me up to go to church. :)

I leave you with a quote from my most recent story, currently in (slow) production:

Once he had overheard some kid refer to him as "a superhero". Admittedly it did make him proud that people looked up to him, well, in theory - and if people wanted to honor him he would not try to stop them. If that makes it possible for me to help more people, who am I to refuse them? And while he couldn't fly or wore a cool costume, he did have a cool set of wheels. Well, two, even though one of them doesn't really count.

I got teh drunks....

Man, that's the kind of party I'm talking about! *is teh happies*

There were all kind of cool people at Polstjärnan (incl. a Norwegian lady, a Russion lady and this guy who kept speaking English with everybody despite being Swedish), and I might have gotten a teeny-tiny bit frunk drunk. Hee!

I have severe burger cravings but I dont know when the real good buger place closes (ETA: 4am...I'm so gonna wheel my ass over there) and how to get to the 24/7 gas station from here with no car...

"It's better than safe. It's death proof."

I went to the movies last night at 11 to watch Death Proof and Planet Terror. They were a lot better than I thought they would be! :) But when at 3 am the others decided to watch some obscure movie in a similar genre, I was one of those who decided to go home.

Today I've been to a coming out-group (there were only two of us there but hopefully that'll change for the better), and later tonight I'm off to a party at the LGBTQ association. :)

Farmor is still in the hospital, but hopfully she'll be released next week.

I don't really have anything to say...how you doin'?

*flails arms*

While today's IDAHO manifestation was cold and not as big as we would have liked, it was very nice and we made some new friends. And I bought a pair of boxers afterward since I'm almost out of clothes to wear (we'll hopefully get the laundry back tomorrow). :)

Tonight we're going to a party at Polstjärnan (GLBT club), and I can hardly wait! It's good that it's alcohol-free, because that makes it easier for me to talk to people (I can hardly stand drunks). :) The only bad thing (apart from the lack of clothes to choose from) is that I've decided to take a cab and it's quite expensive at night...but Mom helped us with a money donation, so we'll be okay. :)

In closing, how sad/exciting/good was the SPN season finale?! *loves* I wonder how I'll make it through until September 5....
