I'd write something here if I had come up with anything

Got a text from Jennie yesterday morning, telling me I had a Christmas gift waiting.... :D I think I know what it is, but I'm not unwrapping it before Christmas. While I was at Gallerian I bought a little present for Ina.

Hung out with Roachie for a while in the afternoon before I had to go to Småstaden. Took me almost 30 minutes to get there because I was an idiot and went the shorter route instead of the longer one that is free of snow for the most part.... *is an idiot*

I met Lenco almost immediately after I'd entered the mall. It's interesting how months can go buy without meeting someone even though you live in the same town! I then visited some stores since the movie (The Day the Earth Stood Still) wouldn't start in hours. I caught Ina by complete suprise with my gift. But she'd talked about how she hadn't sketched in ages, and I just couldn't help myself!
Popcorn

I then went back to the theater café and had some tea (thanks!) until Erika arrived. The movie was quite good, and even though D forgot about my popcorn until over half of the movie had passed that was okay. You really didn't have to size it up and give me another water, but thanks! :D

Afterward I was planning on going to the Lucia party at Polstjärnan, but there was just so much snow and Pitebo hadn't cleared the yard in hours, so I had problems just getting inside.... I even ended up clearing some snow myself because I was a bit pissed off about it. Then I stayed up for way too long so that I overslept (as I do every Lucia Day) and missed the Lucia celebration on TV. But I'm going to a Lucia concert where the kidlets perform instead, so it's all good.

Tonight it's the combined Helena's b-day party/RFSL member party at Polstjärnan. Here's to hoping the snow's not too bad when I have to go.... But now I have to get ready before Mom picks me up to go to church. :)

I leave you with a quote from my most recent story, currently in (slow) production:

Once he had overheard some kid refer to him as "a superhero". Admittedly it did make him proud that people looked up to him, well, in theory - and if people wanted to honor him he would not try to stop them. If that makes it possible for me to help more people, who am I to refuse them? And while he couldn't fly or wore a cool costume, he did have a cool set of wheels. Well, two, even though one of them doesn't really count.
