I love Ezra and Nathan teasing Buck in tandem.

Josiah reading the Illiad - unf.

Casey is so cute - in her trousers, fishing, getting the guy and getting the frog-gigger (although I just realised why JD being romantic bothers me so much - he's my high school boyfriend!)

"The battle of courtship" - love it.

Mm, I can see where the Chris/Raphael appeal lies.

Inez - I love her. And I love that she and Mary got to talk. You know, for a show with seven male main characters, this show actually passes the Bechdel test now and then. Mary and Nora, Mary and Terry, Nettie and Casey, Mary and Maude, Maude and Inez, Mary and Inez, etc.

Pet peeve: characters who speak the same (non-English language) speaking accented English to each other with the occasional Spanish word thrown in.

Nathan being the swordfighting expert? Rocks. And his and Ezra's duel? Fantastic.

Hah, I love Raphael's comment about finding six companions of his own - someone really has to write that spin-off. "Los Magnificos!"

Title: Love and Honor
Author: Delphi
Pairing: Josiah Sanchez/Ezra Standish
Rating: Teen
Word Count: 100
Summary: A new tactic in the battle of courtship.

When the battle of courtship has left him bleeding, and Achilles and Patroclus have no words of wisdom, he finally thinks: frog-gigger.

He's waiting outside Ezra's door when the poker game has broken up for the night. Ezra climbs the stairs, tucking a fistful of bills into his pocket. His eyes narrow in suspicion. "Help you with something, Josiah?"

Josiah doffs his hat, held just so in case anyone's sober enough to look up, and when Ezra's close enough, he reaches out. His hand slips down. Just the faintest squeeze.

He's never seen a man unlock a door faster in his life.

hey - Josiah is wicked! And delightfully devious! I do love the idea of him as the pursuer in this relationship! You still enjoying the rewatch?

It did, definitely - and it got nicely 'grayer'/darker which I especially adore. Glad you're having fun with it!!! So - next?
