Christian Antonow hat dies geteiltThe real AI race in the enterprise isn't about which LLM wins. It's about who owns the trusted data layer underneath the agents. SAP's answer with Reltio + Prior Labs + Dremio: master data quality, structured data intelligence, and zero-ETL federated access. Three pillars. One architecture. When your agents operate on governed, real-time, contextualised business data, that's when AI stops being a demo and starts driving decisions. Excellent analysis Angel Cruz 🙌 🚀#AgenticAI #SAPBusinessAI #SAPJouleChristian Antonow hat dies geteilt𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐢𝐧 90 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬. 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦. 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐫. Last month it was Reltio - master data quality and entity resolution. This week it's Prior Labs and Dremio, and the pattern is now impossible to miss. SAP isn't buying AI capability, it's buying the infrastructure that makes AI capability reliable. 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐬 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦. LLMs are brilliant at language. They are mediocre at tables. The data that actually runs enterprises lives in structured numbers, not paragraphs. Prior Labs' Tabular Foundation Models are purpose-built for exactly that. The TabPFN model predicts payment delays, supplier risk, and customer churn from structured business data, not public text. 𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐨 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐢𝐩𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦. Agents need live, governed data from every system, SAP and non-SAP. Today that means ETL pipelines: slow, fragile, stale by the time data arrives. Dremio is the Agentic Lakehouse, federated queries to any source without ETL, an AI semantic layer that adds business context at query time. Zero-ETL. Open standard. Every agent drawing from the same source of truth. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞: 𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐬 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦. #AgenticAI #SAPBusinessAI #SAPJoule

Thx Katharina for the Write up 🙏Christian Antonow hat dies geteiltSAP API policy last update and some comments from #SAPArchitektin with my thoughts: SAP’s new API Policy effectively draws a hard line: 𝐢𝐟 𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐏𝐈 𝐢𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 on the Business Accelerator Hub or explicitly documented — 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐭. Full stop. The uncomfortable reality? I just start combining cases in my head. …𝑨 𝒉𝒖𝒈𝒆 𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝑨𝑷 𝒂𝒅𝒅-𝒐𝒏 𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒔𝒚𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒎 — 𝒎𝒊𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒐𝒐𝒍𝒔, 𝑨𝑰 𝒄𝒐𝒑𝒊𝒍𝒐𝒕𝒔, 𝒕𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒂𝒖𝒕𝒐𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝒎𝒐𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒔 — 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒃𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒃𝒖𝒊𝒍𝒕 𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒐𝒑 𝒐𝒇 𝑨𝑷𝑰𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒆𝒄𝒉𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒏𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝒑𝒖𝒃𝒍𝒊𝒔𝒉𝒆𝒅. That’s not a niche edge case. That’s standard practice for years. What this means in practice: • ADT-based AI tooling that reads ABAP repositories is now in a grey (or red) zone • BAPI-based integrations need to be validated against the API Hub • Any bulk data extraction outside SAP-endorsed pathways is explicitly prohibited SAP hasn’t announced how enforcement will work. But waiting to find out during a license audit or S/4 upgrade is not a strategy. If you’re running an SAP integration landscape, now is a good time to map which interfaces rely on documented APIs — and which ones don’t. Christian Antonow hat dies repostetChristian Antonow hat dies repostet"Just learn ABAP and you're set." That advice aged poorly. In 2026, the most consequential thing happening inside the SAP ecosystem isn't a new module or a Fiori update. It's Claude. Not as a chatbot. Not as a copilot. As a reasoning engine wired directly into your S/4HANA data through BTP's Generative AI Hub. Here's what that actually means for developers: ■ Claude reads your functional specs and generates ABAP boilerplate ■ Claude explains variance reports in plain business language, not raw FI/CO numbers ■ Claude powers RAG over your internal SAP Notes, your KB articles, your custom process docs ■ Claude drafts your BTP extension logic from a natural language description of the business rule This isn't theory. SAP Joule for Consultants already runs Claude models via Generative AI Hub over 25 million documents and 12 terabytes of SAP knowledge. That's production, at scale, today. The architectural equation worth internalizing: SAP data + Claude reasoning + BTP governance = enterprise-grade AI Each layer is irreplaceable. SAP owns the data and process context. Claude owns the comprehension and generation. BTP owns the trust layer, grounding, masking, filtering, authorization propagation. So what does a developer actually need to learn? → How to expose clean OData surfaces Claude can consume → How to structure prompts that respect your data model → How to configure the Orchestration Service so Claude only sees what it's supposed to see → How to build agents that act on S/4HANA, not just talk about it The model access problem is solved. Claude is one API call away. The hard problem now is Context Engineering, connecting Claude to the right tables, with the right authorizations, in the right tenant boundary. That's where SAP developers win. You know the data. You know the process. You know why it's sensitive. Generic AI engineers don't. And that gap isn't closing anytime soon. What's your take, are SAP developers underestimating how fast Claude is changing the day-to-day job? #SAP #BTPDevelopment #Claude #GenerativeAI #ContextEngineering #SAPDeveloper

Christian Antonow gefällt dasChristian Antonow gefällt das𝗦𝗔𝗣 𝗦𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗶𝗻 𝗢𝗿𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿: SAP is no longer positioning itself primarily as a system of record. The direction is increasingly toward becoming: → a system of execution → a system of intelligence → and ultimately the operational AI layer of the enterprise. What stood out most this week was not a single announcement. It was the architectural storyline behind all of them. SAP’s vision of the 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲 is becoming much more concrete - combining Joule Work, the SAP Autonomous Suite, SAP Business AI Platform, Business Data Cloud, and SAP applications into one connected AI architecture. 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 was probably the most strategic announcement. 💎 SAP is evolving Joule from a chatbot-style copilot into an intent-driven orchestration layer where users describe outcomes in natural language while AI assistants and agents coordinate workflows across SAP and non-SAP systems. This also introduced a much stronger “appless” UX direction: moving away from fragmented transactional interfaces toward adaptive AI-driven workspaces centered around business intent instead of application boundaries. 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼 𝟮.𝟬 was another major step forward: → intend-based development → multi-agent orchestration → interoperability → integrated governance A strong moment during the keynote was also seeing KPMG together with SAP on stage during the Joule Studio 2.0 announcement, showcasing live enterprise AI agent scenarios in real business contexts. The 𝗦𝗔𝗣 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗔𝗜 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 positioning also became much clearer. SAP is increasingly structuring platform capabilities around: → 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 → 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 → 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻 Industry AI was another major theme: moving beyond generic productivity AI toward process-aware and industry-aware AI across finance, supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, HR, utilities, and sustainability. The partnership announcements were also significant: → Google Cloud around Gemini and cross-platform AI orchestration → Amazon Web Services (AWS) with bi-directional Zero-Copy data sharing → Parloa for AI-driven service experiences → LiveKit for real-time voice integration into Joule Work Important: SAP also emphasized that Business AI capabilities will become accessible for ECC and SAP S/4HANA on-premise customers under certain deployment approaches. 👏👏👏 Maybe the most important message underneath all of this: SAP is positioning ERP and business applications not only as systems that store transactions but as the trusted operational memory and execution brain of the enterprise. Because enterprise AI needs more than models. It needs trusted business context to ensure accuracy (100% because 80% isn’t good enough). I’ll dive deeper into topics like Joule Studio 2.0 + Joule Work and AI for ECC + S/4 in upcoming posts. #Sapphire

Christian Antonow gefällt dasChristian Antonow gefällt dasGreat to be back in Orlando alongside colleagues, customers, and our dear SAP partners! Our Partner Summit was the perfect launchpad for #SAPSapphire💎 this week, bringing together more than 4000+ partners from around the world to celebrate our partnership and commit all-in to our bold vision for #AI. Hearing directly from our Executive Board was especially inspiring, not only for the exciting announcements they previewed, but because they underscored the critical role of our #partners in SAP's strategy. An especially powerful moment for me was when Christian Klein shared with us a simple lesson he learned from Gerhard Oswald: If partners are successful, #SAP is successful. That's why every conversation with our partners counts. Every exchange is a chance to team up more closely, to align on opportunities in the market, and to deliver tangible, AI-driven outcomes for our customers together. And that's why I'm so excited to connect with many of our MEE partners here in Orlando, and even more next week at Sapphire Madrid! Thank you, Karl Fahrbach and team for the amazing event and to all of our partners in attendance for your energy and collaboration. 🤝 Dear partners, let's turn our shared vision at Sapphire into shared success! 🚀💎💪

Christian Antonow hat darauf reagiertChristian Antonow hat darauf reagiertAI is no longer just an efficiency tool. It is becoming a catalyst for motivation, creativity, and entirely new ways of working. Over the past weeks, I had many discussions with customers, colleagues, and friends about AI. One thing became very clear: people are not only excited about saving time, they are excited about rediscovering curiosity and innovation in their daily work. Some have been in their roles for years or even decades. Yet with AI, many describe a feeling they have not experienced in a long time: the energy and motivation of their very first day on the job. Why? Because suddenly, everything feels possible again. AI opens doors to: -new approaches to solving problems -faster experimentation and innovation -better decision-making -entirely new business models -more meaningful and impactful work The companies that embrace AI early will gain far more than productivity improvements. They will unlock more engaged employees, more innovative thinking, and stronger collaboration across teams. And ultimately, this creates its own business case: better capabilities → better ideas → faster execution → better outcomes. We are only at the beginning of what’s possible. The future of work will not simply be “more efficient.” It will be more creative, more dynamic, and more human. This is just the beginning of better and we are excited to support businesses on this transformation journey. #AI #FutureOfWork #Innovation #DigitalTransformation #Leadership #EmployeeExperience #BusinessTransformation #GenerativeAI

Christian Antonow gefällt dasChristian Antonow gefällt das𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗔𝗣 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗔𝗜 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆? Looking through the marketing language, I think this was one of the most important announcements at SAP Sapphire. The SAP Business AI Platform is SAP restructuring large parts of its tech stack around AI-native enterprise execution. At a very simplified level, SAP is essentially consolidating and repositioning: → SAP BTP → AI Foundation → SAP BDC → HANA Cloud → parts of Signavio and LeanIX …under one broader AI-centric platform narrative. The platform itself is structured around three major pillars: → Build → Contextualize & Reason → Govern 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 This is where Joule Studio 2.0 becomes important. SAP is moving towards an AI-first development environment for: → agents → workflows → applications → orchestration grounded in enterprise context and governance. One important detail many may overlook: SAP is clearly acknowledging that future enterprise architectures will remain heterogeneous across multi-platform landscapes. That is why SAP Integration Suite, MCP support, A2A interoperability, multi-LLM connectivity and non-SAP integrations became such central topics. SAP is positioning itself as the governed enterprise execution layer across increasingly complex AI ecosystems. 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲 & 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 To me, this is probably SAP’s key differentiator. SAP’s argument is: enterprise AI only works reliably if AI understands: → business semantics → process dependencies → organizational context → operational relationships → compliance structures That is why SAP is heavily investing into: → SAP Knowledge Graph → BDC → domain models → SAP RPT-1 → semantically connected business data SAP is not trying to compete head-on with OpenAI or Anthropic on foundation models. Instead, SAP is trying to become the business context and reasoning layer sitting on top of enterprise operations. And strategically, that is the right move because generic AI alone does not reliably run enterprises. 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻 Most organizations currently underestimate the operational complexity of enterprise AI: → governance → identity → lifecycle management → explainability → compliance → API security → observability → accountability SAP is clearly positioning governance as a built-in platform capability instead of an afterthought. That also explains the recently updated SAP API policy and stricter positioning around controlled AI access patterns. This is about: → protecting enterprise process integrity → securing enterprise data flows → controlling agent execution → governing AI interaction with operational systems And this will become increasingly important once AI agents move from copilots towards autonomous execution patterns. Strategically, I think this announcement explains very clearly where SAP sees the enterprise software market moving next. #BusinessAI #EnterpriseAI

Rouven — shaping one of the world’s most iconic sports brands from the boardroom at FC Bayern Munich. ⚡ “Customer experience can’t wait.” That was the bold realization at Stadtwerke Düsseldorf. In the middle of their SAP S/4HANA Utilities transformation, the team faced a big choice: wait for the new ERP system — or start improving the customer experience now. They chose action. 💪 Because when you serve more than 600,000 households with electricity, gas, water, and heat, customer proximity isn’t optional — it’s essential. With SAP Service Cloud, they replaced a 20-year-old legacy system, broke down silos, and gave their service teams the tools to truly understand and support their customers. Supported by SAP Business Technology Platform, Emarsys, and SAP Customer Data Platform, the utility built a 360° customer view and laid the foundation for personalized, data-driven service. The CX integration was carried out by Power Reply. As a partner of Stadtwerke Düsseldorf, they were involved in this successful project from the very beginning. Their experience contributed to the project's success. “It would have been negligent to postpone customer orientation by two or three years just because the SAP S/4HANA transformation was still ongoing,” says Christian Hüging, Head of Process & System Integration. This story isn’t just about software — it’s about mindset. About moving fast, thinking customer-first, and showing that even in the energy sector, innovation and empathy can go hand in hand. 💙 #CustomerExperience #SAPServiceCloud #CXTransformation #Utilities #SAPBTP #CustomerSuccess #Innovation Ines Graefe Barbara Badiane Christian Blattgerste Christoph Hefner Thomas Ofenloch Olga Jilibert Stefanie Nuckelt Philipp Heitland Moritz Meurer Sven Gaßdorf Tim Holm Caroline Böttcher

🚀 Another brilliant perspective from Sandor Dunkel on the evolving world of planning and finance transformation! What really stands out to me is how rapidly planning is shifting from a slow, batch‑driven process to an intelligent, connected, real‑time capability. The way SAP Analytics Cloud brings together operational data, financial insights, and predictive capabilities is truly reshaping how organizations plan, adapt, and make decisions. We’re no longer just “closing the books”—we’re continuously learning, forecasting, and reacting with agility. This is the kind of transformation that turns planning into a strategic superpower rather than a compliance exercise. Absolutely worth the read for anyone interested in modern FP&A, extended planning, or enterprise transformation. 🙌 #SAPAnalyticsCloud #PlanningTransformation #SAP #FinanceInnovation #FutureOfPlanning #BusinessTransformation 🚀

The biggest risk in today's uncertain world? Not a bad outcome, but organizational paralysis. Following our keynote at #SAPConnect, Professor Ulrike Malmendier and I discussed the antidote: making bold "no-regret moves." For any leader, the ultimate no-regret move is creating the utmost data transparency. This is the foundation that breaks down silos, empowering organizations to act with speed and turn uncertainty into an agility advantage. It provides the real-time visibility needed to guide an enterprise through turbulence with confidence, much like a pilot navigating from the cockpit. It was a pleasure to dive deeper into this crucial topic. Thank you, Ulrike, for the sharp insights. See our full discussion below.

From Jeopardy! to #watsonx: How IBM transformed decades of AI experience into the ultimate Enterprise platform. When we talk about #AI today, names like OpenAI or Google dominate the conversation. But long before the current hype, one company was already setting milestones that redefined human-machine interaction: IBM. From Deep Blue defeating Garry Kasparov in 1997 to Watson’s legendary Jeopardy! victory in 2011, IBM pushed the boundaries of what we thought was possible. However, the journey wasn't without its hurdles. The ambitious "Watson Health" projects showed that the real world—especially in medicine—is far more complex than a quiz show. The Lesson? IBM took those "costly lessons" and pivoted. Instead of building a monolithic, "all-knowing" super-AI, they developed a modular, open, and enterprise-grade platform: watsonx. In my latest blog post, I trace this evolution and look at why IBM’s current B2B strategy is so effective: Openness: No vendor lock-in. Flexibility across any cloud with open-source integration (Hugging Face). Trust & Governance: Moving away from the "black box" toward transparent, explainable AI workflows. Data Sovereignty: Companies train models on their own trusted data—and they keep control of it. We are moving from "AI that chats" to "AI that acts" (Agentic AI). With the Granite foundation models, IBM is providing the efficiency and "guardrails" that industries like finance, law, and software engineering actually need to scale. From a pioneer to a pragmatic partner—IBM’s journey is a masterclass in strategic adaptability. 👇 Read the full story here: https://lnkd.in/dFSjYTiS #AI #ArtificialIntelligence #IBM #watsonx #B2B #DigitalTransformation #Innovation #TechHistory #AgenticAI

My team’s offsite in Walldorf this week was packed with strategy updates, tooling deep dives, and honest discussions. From customer and partner perspectives to how we work together. A few highlights: ✔️ Inspiring session with Michael Rosemann on the “Third Wave of Digital Transformation”: Tomorrow’s transformation is not just about fixing broken processes. It’s about imagining new ones that inspire commitment. From productivity to generativity. We have to rethink what IT systems will deliver in the future. Not automation, but autonomization of specific process steps. ✔️ Honest conversations about performance culture, diversity, and how we work together: If you feel that members of your team have concerns about the strategy and execution of the company, you have to listen. Address them openly. Explain and discuss. And do it immediately. ✔️ A visit to the #SAPMissionControlCenter to see how SAP resolves critical customer situations. Situations that impact our customers' or SAP’s business and require management beyond standard processes. It’s always impressive to see the professionalism with which this center is set up. Not surprising — these are business-down situations, 24/7, for over 400,000 customers worldwide. ✔️ Another highlight: Apple visiting and talking about the S/4 transformation of one of their main systems. We’re talking about 250TB and millions of entries per day. A little humbling that all of this runs on SAP software. At the same time, feeling the responsibility to keep enabling these processes in the future. ✔️ And yes, time to connect over BBQ and cocktails in Heidelberg Thanks to everyone who contributed ideas, energy and openness. July 2026 isn't a migration deadline with SAP Commerce (Hybris). It's a strategy decision. B2B companies that treat it as a technical problem will get a technical answer. That's not enough. I wrote about what it should actually force you to think about in it-daily.net | IT-Verlag GmbH. Link to the article below. Emporix #SAPHybris #SAPCommerce

Had a fantastic meeting with the Salesforce team in Munich today, alongside my colleagues Alexandra von Wilcken and Konrad Hoffmann. A big thank you to Peter Brehm for organizing such a great event, and to Demen Selcan and Sebastian Schickhoff for their insightful presentations. Here are my 3 key takeaways: ➡️ Agentic AI is reshaping the way we approach digital transformation in pharma, enhancing communication between agents and streamlining workflows. ➡️ The Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud has immense potential to drive value by integrating multiple platforms, providing end-to-end solutions for pharma companies. ➡️ Focusing on business impact over just CRM functionality is key — it's all about understanding the customer journey and delivering real, measurable outcomes. Looking forward to applying these insights and continuing the conversation with the Salesforce team ! #Salesforce #LifeSciences #AI #Pharma #DigitalTransformation #Innovation

Take Microsoft Intune reporting to the next level with Eido This is exactly the approach we are currently pursuing at Henkel together with our partner Eido and the Modern Workplace team around Marco Siedler as part of a proof of concept. The goal: to check whether Eido's in-depth analysis functions provide automated and reliable information on compliance and security – as a basis for reliable reporting and well-founded decisions. Why we are confident: This is exactly where Eido's strength lies. The solution creates transparency and security where Microsoft Intune reaches its limits, thus extending Intune in a meaningful and strategic way – without any additional complexity. And the kickoff for the PoC this week was much more than a formal project launch: The focus was on an open exchange, getting to know each other personally and discussing Henkel's specific requirements, which the Eido team around Sean Patten and Bimal Modha is now incorporating into its own product roadmap. It is precisely this cooperation at eye level that is the basis of successful projects for us. If you are also facing the challenge of further developing your device management with Microsoft Intune, please feel free to contact the EBF Inc. team. Maybe Eido is the next sensible step for you too.

A few days ago I joined the #SAP_Sustainability_Partner_Innovation Days in #Walldorf. What stood out to me was the exchange between #SAP and partners. #Sustainability is often discussed at a very strategic level. In Walldorf, the conversations were much more concrete: how sustainability requirements actually impact operations and systems. One topic came up again and again: data consistency across product, supply chain and sustainability processes. Many of these scenarios depend on information that is spread across different systems — product specifications, packaging structures, supplier data or material information. That’s where things get practical. Sustainability is not just about targets or reporting. It’s increasingly about how companies structure and manage their product and operational data. This is becoming more visible with topics like product compliance, the Digital Product Passport or PPWR, all of which require much more structured and traceable product and packaging data. In practice, bringing this information together across systems is not straightforward. These are exactly the kinds of challenges from which solutions like our process automations and cockpits have evolved — supporting specification processes and the creation of related packaging information. They show where standard capabilities, industry requirements and operational reality meet — and where gaps exist that can be closed with the right solutions. Thanks for the organization and the valuable exchange to Guido Adler; Erika Bitter; Hanna Lapchuk

Attended the #Celosphere event in Munich this week. I liked the message ”Free the Process”. I see the analogy from ”Free the data” that has been around longer but especially since about 2010 when we started to talk about data as a product. A product any application, analysis or AI-algorithm should be able to consume. The promise of Process Intelligence is to define your To-Be processes free of applications, and then use AI Agents or other automation tools to connect to whatever applications and tools needed to execute processes in the most effective way. Combining this with Process Mining and the ability to calculate and prioritize where to redesign or automate your processes help management make smart decisions in where to invest in automation. For all of us interested in improving processes and business, Celosphere was an energy boost and very inspiring. Thank you #Celonis for a great event with lots of customer stories and live demo examples.

AI agents offer immense opportunities but also pose new challenges. At #Salesforce, transparency, security, and human oversight are core principles for responsible AI development and use - because trust isn’t optional, it’s essential. The EU AI Act is a major milestone, but regulation must evolve alongside technology. For businesses and policymakers alike, a deep understanding of how AI agents work is essential to set the right guardrails and mitigate risks. I summarize key aspects of responsible AI development and use from a business and policy perspective in my latest article "Balancing Innovation and Regulation: Why We Need Guardrails for Autonomous AI Agents". #AI #Agentforce #ResponsibleAI
