DDR Tourny
I was over at the new Gaming place over on University, Gamers Asylum, tonight, and I was wearin my DDR gators shirt. the guy who was there came over ant alked to us, and told me that they were tryin to organize a DDR tourny over there, cash prizes. I told him I'd spread the word, so that is what I'm doin.
they don't have a date set yet, but here's the thread on their forums, you're interested, check it out.

Well now I hear from Steve that Select Start is quite possibly not playing at wysiwyg. I felt oglibated (that's a word now) to inform you all of that.

Not technically DDR, but you guys will probably like it. You've most likely heard of wysiwyg, the lan center on the corner of University and 13th? Well, it's a cool place.
On April 24th, Saturday, 2 days before my 22nd birthday, Select Start is apparently playing there.
They have a couple other events coming up, in addition to the regular gaming:
4/15/04 Soul Calibur II Training Day
4/17/04 Battlefield Vietnam @ 4 PM
4/24/04 Fighting Day: Soul Calibur II, Marvel vs Capcom, Street Fighter III.

The University of Florida Gator Kendo Club is sponsoring a Soul Calibur Tournament this weekend at WYSIWYG. Prizes will include gift certificates to WYSIWYG and I believe we're also giving away a small bokken (wooden sword).

Ideally Evan and I will spend Saturday night in Orlando and go to WPB after the AMVs Sunday. Only problem is, we have a cat. Does anyone know a place near Megacon where we can spend the night with our cat?! He's shy and not harmful, has four claws and no fleas. Any suggestions are welcome!

Hey everyone, short notice. This sunday is Annual Gator Kendo Club Tournament, if you're interested you should stop by and watch. Alex and myself will be among the participants. The tournament will be held to determine who will go as Team A and Team B to the Harvard Sho-ryu-hai.
Place:SW Rec MultiPurpose Room
Time:Starts at 7, probably want to be there abit early to find some floor space to sit on.
PS if you come in late I have a copper colored armor, that way you can identify me.
