Firefly (disambiguation)

Firefly is a name used by three pyromaniac supervillains in the DC Universe.

Formerly a visual effects expert working in the movie business, he turned to crime using a flame-proof winged suit after he was unable to stop his destructive compulsions. The third person who adopted the criminal identity of Firefly was a woman named Bridgit Pike, a creation of the 2014 Gotham television series. She debuted in mainline continuity during DC Rebirth as a protégé being groomed by Ted Carson as Lady Firefly.

Firefly was created by France Herron and Dick Sprang, first appearing in Detective Comics #184. (1952).
